LIFE EXPERIENCE PROGRAM
( LEP )
The LIFE EXPERIENCE PROGRAM (LEP) permits students to apply for a grant of college credits at WOTI for learning that has resulted form experience outside of a formal college or university education.
The program provides a unique opportunity for students to assess their prior learning and educational goals with the staff of WOTI. LEP should be considered an important part of the student’s over-all program at WOTI.
Students who feel they have sufficient life experience, such as past job experiences, church experiences, music back ground or trade school skills, should submit an extensive and detailed resume to WOTI for evaluation.
A Fee of $15.00 is payable for this evaluation, in advance, and must be submitted with documentation.
If the student has a sponsoring bishop or religious superior for attending WOTI, that ecclesiastical personage must also indicate approval of the LIFE EXPERIENCE application and documentation when the student applies for evaluation.
WOTI is the sole judge of the amount of credit that may be awarded. If a student has no sponsoring bishop or religious superior, the student may apply for membership to a sponsoring church of WOTI.
