Welcome to the Home Page of the Brotherhood of St. Jude Thaddeus: Holy Order and Society of St. Jude Thaddeus and Friends (SSJt.) also known and called "Thaddean Fathers" and sometimes "Thaddean Companions".

The Orthodox Cross is used because we are strugglers for the faith, a belief that is fully Orthodox without the machinations of those who have a financial flow-chart mentality, and of those who have developed or adopted a Latinizing  attitude of Orthodoxy which involve political actions (some or all) of Synchrestic Ecumenism which is filled with cold and calculating hearts a harbinger of the heretical One World Church ideal as ensconced in the World Council of Churches, Salvation Army, Pentecostalism, the World Council of Bishops, many so-called Independent churches, and even some of today's Orthodox Churches and more.

The Thaddean Fathers' International Headquarters is located in Deming, New Mexico which operate under the  American Orthodox Church (American Orthodox Catholic Church, North American Orthodox Church) and administers to the needs of the Holy Synod of Bishop's International Headquarters.

Our way of life has been called the 'Modern Day Desert Fathers' because we live, in these modern times, in the desert area of New Mexico, U.S.A.  Living and practicing our faith as material and spiritual strugglers for the life and teachings of Jesus Christ.

You may wish to learn more about our patron saints by clicking on the appropriate area to the left.  You may also wish to learn what our Rule of Life is by researching our web site (click on appropriate categories to the left).

The Thaddean Fathers are sometimes known and called Thaddean Companions because of our apostolate or mission which is to not only help each other within our communities, but to help those who are being dispossessed by questionable and illegal shady politicians; disabled veterans, the elderly, those who are victims of HIV/AIDS, and many others. We operate an ADVOCACY Program for those in need and who qualify.  call our main International Telephone number and leave a message if you are in need and especially those living in Luna County, New Mexico.  No promises! No guarantees...

We belong to a monastic community of like minded people and clergy of which we are but a small part.  We live in the Monastic Community of St. John Maximovitch and the Holy Theotokos which include not only our unworthy selves, but Orthodox Benedictine and Orthodox Franciscan as well. They follow and practice their appropriate Rule of Life as authored by either St. Benedict of Nursia or St. Francis of Assisi.

Whether you are a lay person in society or a clergy person, all are welcomed to join in and with us in doing the work.

Appropriate membership forms and other material for those who seek to become either lay 'members' (Friends of the Society) or one with us as "monks" and "Nuns" (Holy Order) regardless of what geographical area or country you may reside in, by researching the information categories to the left.
