Parolees Anonymous Network (PAN)
In some states, the parole board can restore to ex-offenders certain legal rights. If an ex-offender has only one felony conviction and completes parole without another felony conviction, the parole board can issue a Certificate of Relief from Disability. Those with more than one felony conviction can get a Certificate of Good Conduct if they stay our of trouble for a specified time. However, this depends upon how severe the crime was. Contact your parole office for details.
Getting one of these certificates shows that an individual is serious about obtaining work. They may also make it easier to get some jobs or occupational licenses.
