Pentecostal - Charismatic - Evangelical

PENTECOSTAL - CHARISMATIC - EVANGELICAL?

What EXACTLY is the difference between Pentecostal and Charismatic?  I have looked for a difference and can't find one.  There HAS TO BE some difference I just don't know what it is.

To me, Charismatic means the Charisma of the Church as the Mystical Body of Christ which includes the gifts of the Holt Spirit and the Charism of truth through the Episcopacy.  Pentecostal is a heresy started by some 19th century Protestants.

What I am seeing going on under the name Charismatic seems to be a segment of believers and not the Church universal, much like Pentecostal Protestants.  This is not my understanding of Charismatic.  The Church is said to be Charismatic (especially by Francis of Assisi) but the people are supposed to reflect the Charism of the Church.

I was told last night that Pentecostal is Protestant and Charismatic is Catholic or Protestant.  That makes no sense to me.  How can there be individuals who are Charismatic and others who are not if they all belong to the same Body of Christ?  There are many gifts but only one Body.

When ever I bring up the subject I hear about speaking in tongues and healing and other things which seems to miss the point in the larger picture.

There are many gifts which can include healing etc but these are for the building up of the body of Christ.  The Charismatic seems to be apart from the Church Catholic just like the Pentecostals.

Am I missing something?

In order to understand how some misuse, abusively, the term and word "Charismatic" - - - one needs to understand who the abusive users are, primarily the various Protestant denominations such as the Pentecostals and their Pentecostalism movement which is one of the primary motivators of the World Council of Churches and the World Council of Bishops: both of whom have infected the Roman Catholic Church and several Orthodox (Eastern) jurisdictions as well as those calling themselves "Independent" Catholics, "Independent" Orthodox, etc.

There are many phrases, terms and words that Pentecostals, Evangelicals, and so-called Fundamentalists of the Protestant heresy appropriate from the Bible for to describe themselves while failing and refusing to accept the reality of their spiritual fraud on society.

So, in order to gain a better grasp of what is happening; you may wish to read (and it is suggested you read in the order provided) the following as they become available.

2.     True Nature of "Heresy" (What it really means)
