Parenthood — It's Nature and Destiny

The nature and destiny of man was wrought by Almighty God when He said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness; So God created. . . male and female . . .; And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it. Genesis l:26a; 27b; 28a. God endowed the human being with a distinctive innate desire, spiritual and physical, which leads him toward the haven of union with the opposite sex. God also created man with the ability to exercise his freedom, increase his spiritual and physical capacities and keep intact these privileges and responsibilities. Man was also blessed with capacities to improve himself and his environment and to procreate.

The creation of men and women thus was intended not only for bearing children but also for rearing them in the "image" of God through the example of the parents. The creation of man and woman was not an afterthought, but took place in an extraordinary manner by comparison to the creation of the rest of the universe. Man was created in a different manner than the animal in that he has the intellect to develop his intellectual and moral capacities. This is why Almighty God blessed man with the care of children. In this respect man, in his limited capacities, is co-creator with God in the development of his children's intellect and moral qualities and their love and worship of Almighty God.

Parenthood is a sacred institution not so much in the pledge of love, devotion and fidelity between man and woman, but especially for the privilege and responsibility they have for developing uprightness in their children. This is not a mere pledge which, under certain circumstances, can be canceled; it is a sacred covenant of constant devotion and love for the care of and concern for their children. This covenant is not a blind love supported by an innate tendency; it is a creative love which concerns itself with the complete welfare of children; it is a mature love which "will compel the parent, to learn all he can about parenthood, because of his caring concern for his child". The admonition to children to obey their parents is well known in the Ten Commandments. Their obedience depends upon their parent's concern for them.

A mature love and correct attitude regarding the rearing of children is essential for parents. Negligence, ignorance and indulgence on the part of parents has bitter consequences. Mature love for children by parents presupposes a thorough knowledge and understanding and preparation for rearing children long before they arrive. The influence of parents, whether good or bad, on their children is immeasurable. Parenthood cannot accomplish its mission if it is not physically and spiritually prepared. Considering the value of the product, parenthood is the most sacred endeavor.

There is no single pattern parents can follow; the pattern varies according to the education and background of the parents. Nevertheless, there are certain spiritual and moral principles for raising children. The basic principle is love and understanding of the individual child, considering his unique character and age, his relationship to his environment, schools and other groups and the influence upon him of movies, radio, television, books and magazines.

A Christian parent should prepare himself by study of the Gospel before taking his children to Church. Parents can prepare more effectively under the guidance of specially trained persons who are trained to understand their needs. Religious education prepares parents for creating friendship with authority, love with order, manners with duties and achievements with dignity. Religious education helps parents transfer these values to their children through example and explanation. This task of the parents requires time, patience and the sacrifice of their own pleasures and activities. But the reward is great in the growth of spiritual and moral qualities in the hearts and minds of their children.

Mature Christian parents have a good knowledge of the Bible. They consider it a source of principles of life, although not a direct answer to all problems nor necessarily the final point in all discussions. Mature Christian parents are concerned with their children's knowledge of the Bible and help them understand it in the light of the circumstances under which it was written. They want their children to understand the Bible and use it intelligently. Christian parents are members of the sacred Body of Christ, the Church, which is a fellowship of people sharing the spirit of Christ within themselves, using this spirit to unite their efforts more effectively in society. Mature Christian parents, as members of the Church of Christ, consider themselves instruments for transmitting in an organized way the mission of the Church to others, especially to their own family. Parents with good intentions can harm their children by using improper methods of rearing and teaching them.

The failure of some parents to understand themselves keeps them from understanding their children and their needs. Witnessing the complex process of growth and development of children should be a fascinating experience for the parents. Parents who constantly encourage their children in spite of the normal mistakes and failures of the learning process can derive a deep satisfaction. Unfortunately, some parents do not understand that mistakes and failures in the learning process are normal, and respond in a cruel way to their children's mistakes. These parents fail to prepare their children to accept the inevitable failures and disappointments of life in a manner which will preserve a happy and balanced life.

Parents desire their children to be responsible, but often they do not allow them enough independence to develop responsibility. Children should be given the opportunity to exercise their responsibility by allowing them to prove themselves progressively more mature. A child needs to get into the water to learn to swim.

Some parents, on the other hand, err in giving their children complete independence, which is beyond their capacity, then punishing them because they cannot be as responsible as an adult. This further confuses the children. The manners of children reflect their parent's practices and manners. The everyday life of parents will impress and leave its mark on children. Bad habits and manners in children raises the question, how are the manners of the parents? This applies not only to everyday manners of etiquette, but also to attitudes towards others.

Some Christian parents know and wish to apply the precepts of the Church and attempt to teach their children accordingly. However, if they are unaware of the means to achieve this goal, thus become frustrated and blame their children. There are few mature Christian parents. It is necessary for the others to become more familiar with the teachings of the Church and of how to apply them to their children. The zeal of some parents to provide material goods for nutrition and appearance at the expense of their children's Christian upbringing indicates a lack of understanding of their greater responsibilities to their children. Many parents spend three or four hours a day for pleasure, yet cannot spare an hour a day to spend in teaching, training, guiding, playing and loving their children.

Problems Parents Face Today

The parents of today must compete with the various media of communication for the attention of their children. Thus parents must double their efforts to prevent their children from being misled by these external forces. The conscientious parents will find time and the proper channels to overcome these outside forces which might have evil influence on their children. To blame society at large for the evil influence on their children is an oversimplification, for they themselves are also members of this society. Blaming society only points out more emphatically their failure as parents.

The Church should organize a workshop in which the fundamental Christian duties of parents will be taught. This workshop should include three specific areas of guidance: church teachings on parenthood, expert advice for raising children and the common sense and experience of parents themselves. Each of these factors should point out that the best teaching method in the parent-child relationship is exposure to example. It is a fact that attitudes and feelings are more effective than words in teaching. The example of parents is considered the most important influence of all. Maturity in Christian parents is reflected by the manner in which differences of opinions and beliefs are dealt with in a child.

Because of modern transportation and communication, isolation from people and places is disappearing. Behavior controls once imposed by identification with friends and family should be replaced by behavior controls established within individuals. This is why parents must teach children to develop their own personality in religious values and other areas. This does not imply isolation of their children from the outside world. On the contrary, children should be equipped to meet the outside world armed with their parents' guidance in order to contribute to society rather than be absorbed by society as merely one of tine crowd.

The parents of today are faced with the challenge of rearing their children with certain values of life while preventing their isolation from society. Many questions are raised by parents today. With standardization and pressures toward conformity, what should Christian parents do to protect their children's individuality? How much conformity is necessary in living with others? What is the attitude of Christian parents? In which way can Christian parents help their children face these experiences? How can parents help their children to help themselves in the society of tomorrow?

Because people today have more time for leisure, how should Christian parents utilize this time? Are traditional ideas and expectations adequate? How can parents be stimulated to think of helping their children to grow up prepared to face the challenges of the modern age? How can Christian parents help their children to adapt themselves without losing their integrity? These and many other questions challenge parents' devotion and concern for the proper rearing of their children.

Children of today desperately need guidance and love. The responsibility of parents today toward their children is great and complex and requires them to be mature in thoughts, feelings and behavior. The love of parents compels them to understand their children for their own benefit. Parents are unable to do this alone. Parents need each other to discuss their common responsibilities and problems in raising children. Christian parents should arrive at agreements on various principles and directions. They need one another to discover the truths in a spiritual universe and to accomplish the purpose of parenthood by constantly growing and developing in their relationship to God.

There are three main areas of parent-children relationship: faith in and worship of God, norms to build good character and development of the ideal of a vocation. Parents cannot teach their children to believe in God if they themselves do not, or even if they pretend that they do. Parents should be sincere in this matter, for children can easily detect their insincerity which is worse than non-belief. Worship is indispensable for stability of faith in God, for worship gives to faith vividness and life without which it becomes a mediocre expression.

Christian parents should pray with their children in the home and in the Church. As parents and children live as a unit under the same shelter they should also pray in unity and worship together under a spiritual shelter of the Grace of God. A sincere faith in God reflected by worshipping together is the cornerstone of that family in which unity can be preserved. Such a spiritual environment and experience is the ground upon which their home is built with stability and happiness.

On the other hand, parents who fail to practice what they teach their children to do leave the impression of insincerity which the children will imitate later on. Such insincerity is shown when parents leave their children at Sunday School, while they go elsewhere until church school is over. The indiscretion of criticizing the church in front of children diminishes the church in their eyes. Other neglectful parents fail to attend church at all.

The failure to practice faith in God affects the character of parents and children. The responsibility of creating the proper norms to mold the character of children is imposed not only on parents but also on many media which influence character. However, the main responsibility remains with parents. They have by nature the power of love for their children. They also have the power of love from their children. The tragedy in many families is that parents fail to use this unique power of mutual love. The failure to properly use love is the main cause of members of the family going astray, for-mutual love is the source of many virtues which create a noble environment. Devoted parents can mold a distinguished personality in a child, as a sculptor can create a magnificent piece of art from a mere block of marble. Parents many times concern themselves only with providing larger homes, bigger cars, fancier clothing and elaborate foods in order to create a so-called high class family image, but fail to provide their children with spiritual and moral insights which characterize the true family image.

Proper guidance from parents will be reflected in the child's choice of vocation, for it will be the reflection of their own faith and good norms of living. In such cases the vocation chosen by children contributes to the betterment of their environment and society at large. This does not mean that parents should force their children to follow their own desires for a particular vocation. Children should be helped to develop and follow a vocation befitting their desires and abilities.

Duties and Responsibilities of Parents

The Bible is the source of inspiration and divine guidance for the noble privilege of rearing children. Christian parents receive inspiration from the Bible to carry out their responsibilities according to the needs and demands of children in today's society. The fundamental teaching of the Church is that The Lord our God is one Lord; and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. Deut. 6:4-5. And you shall teach them (these words) diligently to your children, and shall talk of then when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. Deut. 6:7. The Christian parent is privileged to be the carrier of the riches of the belief in God, expressing his beliefs to his children in such a manner as to be fully understood. The fundamental Christian teaching is to believe in One God, to love Him with all your heart, soul and mind, and to teach this belief to children ceaselessly, night and day, in the home and outside. It is a hard task for parents; it requires preparation and devotion. However hard this task is, it is a most noble and gratifying task to mold the life of the child and witness its fruit.

The home is the center for teaching children faith and morals. Church school teachers and regular school teachers are trained to teach children and help develop their minds, but the basic task of developing the mind and heart of children remains in the hands of parents. The preparation of children for attending schools through the parents' consent, interest and assistance is the backbone of the moral and educational development of the child. It is not enough for parents to just send their children to the schools, church or otherwise. It is the parents' responsibility to encourage their children, to assist with homework, to show their interest by listening to them and to consult their teachers and cooperate with them. Parents should train their children diligently how to apply what they learn. The important outcome of this teaching is to train the children to apply what they learn throughout their lives. Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6.

Parents have an obligation to their children to provide them both material and spiritual necessities of life. If any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith. 1 Tim. 5:8. Parents are obligated to provide not only shelter, food and clothing, but, more important, to provide the means for the development of the children's heart and mind in proportion to their financial ability. They should provide these means without thought for expected future rewards. They should provide for them out of sacrificial parental love. Parents should follow the example of Apostle Paul, who said to the Corinthians: I will not be a burden, for I seek not what is yours but you; for children ought not to lay up for their parents, but parents for their children. I will most gladly spend and be spent for your souls. 2 Cor. 12:14-15. Parental love is full of sacrifices for children. Parents tend to concentrate their efforts on building up the personality of their children and not thinking at this time of deriving advantage from them. Parents also must provide spiritual nourishment for their children.

Many parents give their children excessive gifts and large allowances. This extravagance of giving children everything they want is harmful and will create a false sense of values. Children must be taught the value of material and spiritual things. Therefore, parents should be moderate in providing their children with gifts and money in order to impress on them the importance of managing their possessions properly.

Parents should create a friendly atmosphere within the home, where two principles of life should prevail: the sense of freedom and that of authority. Each member of the family must understand and apply the meaning of individual freedom within family authority. Harmony and friendship within the family can be strengthened by including the children in family discussions such as buying a new home, budget problems, schooling, vacations, planning of meals, etc. Children participation and opinions should be encouraged.

Mature Christian parents should exercise their authority on children with caution and loving discipline. However, Do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. Eph. 6:4. Parents should encourage their children diligently with a deep understanding and patience, showing an interest in their opinions. Parents should not direct their children with strict orders. Many fathers have the tendency to order and constantly drive their sons and thus diminish parental love. Apostle Paul advises: Fathers, do not provoke your children, lest they become discouraged. Col. 3,21. Parents should use love, patience and kind methods in dealing with their children, not only to strengthen friendliness between them, but also to plant in children obedience out of respect and love, not fear. Respect should derive from love as well as 'age.

The unity of the Christian family depends on the conduct and wisdom of parents. Instruction from the Bible should be supplemented by a constant communion of the parents with God. For this unity mature parents pray and invoke God to grant them inspiration and grace to foster the harmony of the family. The Christian parent must manage his own household well, keeping his children submissive and respectful in every way; for if a man does not know how to manage his own household, how can he care for God's church? 1 Tim. 3:4-5.

Parents frequently are obliged to discipline their children, to correcting their mistakes and calling their attention to Christian conduct in the home and outside. Parents should discipline their children by explaining and pointing out their mistakes. Many mistakes will stem from parents' inadequate guidance. No child should be punished without being taught to discern between right and wrong. It is the duty of parents to instruct them accordingly. When a child does wrong, or is not obedient, the parents should restate the proper behavior and conduct. When punishment of a child is necessary, parents should apply corrective measures, not out of wrath but out of love and obligation, for he who spares the rod hates his son, but he who loves him is diligent to discipline him. Prov. 13:24.

Parents should correct their children before it is to late for correction. Therefore, discipline your son while there is hope; do not set your heart on his destruction. Prov. 19:18. Folly is bound up in the heart of a child, but the rod of discipline drives it far from him. Prov. 22:15. The harmony of the home requires painstaking planning, constant attention and care. There should not be two set rules of weights and measures; the father and mother should cooperate in a harmonious family plan. Harmonious family life is rewarded by the child's upright character, which will be reflected in his adult years and in his own family.

All the duties and responsibilities of mature Christian parents to their children should spring forth from love and affection. A genuine parental love has no limitations; it is expressed in loving sacrifice. This love is the foundation of a harmonious and happy home. Through love and affection the security of the children is made more steadfast in their adult lives. The love that children experience in their home is reflected later on in their own home and children. Furthermore, parental love establishes the foundation of love among the children of the family themselves. Such a love penetrates society at large as it is expressed to their neighbors.

This love in the family is not a static value; it functions among the members of the family and throughout society and is the essential norm for living a Christian life. This family love prepares children to be able in their adult life to work with their fellowmen as a team, respecting each other and producing together. Genuine love in the home has a profound impact in the hearts of children, cultivating their love of God and their trust in the all merciful Lord Jesus Christ.

Lack of love between parents and children creates a delinquent home. Lack of love in the family is the cause of dissolution of families, running away of children, drop outs from school, perversions of children's minds and criminal activities. Even bodily deficiency in children is caused by lack of parental love and a family bond. Lack of love between parents and children has its consequences in the adult life of the children. Children who do not have the opportunity of exercising the sentiment of love within their family replace this emptiness with thoughts, feelings and activities alien to Christian life. Frequently they fill this emptiness with hate, hostility and lack of interest in a decent life, and become parasites in society. The strongest influence in rearing children is the example set by parents, an example which requires much love and sacrifice. Sincere Christian parents provide their children with means of education for both the spirit and mind, visualize the future of their sons and daughters, plan for their security, develop the feelings of love and respect among the children themselves and make themselves friends rather than ruling masters.

Parenthood is a universal institution; it includes most of the sentiments experienced by the human race. Wherever parents are to be found, in any age and race, they may differ from one another on matters of customs, religious backgrounds, and culture; they may follow principles written and unwritten; those written on stone and in the mind and heart of the people, of different and varied prejudices and traditions and manners of life. Yet, parents never fail to express warm and tender feelings for their offspring. Especially mature Christian parents have cultivated physical and spiritual bonds between them and their children. They feel that in dealing with their children they follow up certain privileges and responsibilities. There is a strong bond between parents and children, which is substantiated in certain principles and order by which love and respect find their expression. These qualities preserve the home intact and harmonious; a home built upon solid ground. Mature Christian parents from time to time and in accord with the various aspects of life have changed accordingly, but only to better apply the principles of a strong bond within the family.

Genuine Christian love penetrates the hearts of the children and nourishes their spiritual and material growth. This Christian love is not a mere abstract sentiment; it is a powerful energy which communicates itself in manifestations activated in the spirit and body of children. This love of parents for their children is a dynamic force and is the ground on which the child grows in stability and maturity. The most precious gift a parent can give his child is to lead and guide him to Grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 3:18.

There are unscrupulous people on the internet these days.  Some of them are not who they claim to be and in order to disrupt honest spiritual pursuits, they are known to send out e-mail under someone else's name or the name of another church or jurisdiction with attachments.  Anyone can do this, if they want.  Some of them exist in Toledo, Ohio... Some in Texas... Others in Michigan, California and many other places... Some are "haters of truth" who follow (whether they are willing to admit it ) those who have sway over less educated or ignorant people... as their are also those who do not even know what they are doing because they seek glory to satisfy their own vanity and selfish pride to take over a church or jurisdiction of another, or to wreck havoc over those whom they hate without considering the Gospel Message of Jesus Christ.

If you should ever receive an e-mail with an attachment claiming to be from anyone at "" - "" or even "" - - - know that our policy is to not send out e-mail from any of our domain names with an attachment except to those only who know us.  Please note that news messages not include file attachments. If you receive an email not meeting these strict guidelines, please do not open it under any circumstances. Instead, forward it to ( so its contents can be examined by our various affiliates. Therefore, don't open it! If you receive any e-mail from, or and have never before communicated with us... even if you have communicated with us... verify, verify and again, verify.  And, We do not open e-mail that is not identifiable or known to us either.

Unless we know exactly from whom an e-mail comes... nothing is clicked on or opened, especially those with attachments!  You would be surprised from whom 'hate' e-mail arrives and what attempts and extremes they go to make their e-mails "look" official when it is a lone person(s)  who hate TRUTH and love lies, hate anything from being posted that involves TRUTH because they may be affected with exposure to the LIVING TRUTH of Jesus Christ's Love.

Also: Hang Up Telephone Calls constantly get to you?

We get them all the time.  But one thing we do many are unaware of... We keep an automatic telephone log and then we turn them over to the same group who monitors and interacts with the hackers, etc.

It no longer matters if the caller telephones once in a day, every other day or every day or several times a week, once a week or for several months... All get logged, even those who think they have escaped notice by using the actual I.D. Caller number of "000-000-0000" which is has been used, even those who don't show up on caller I.D. as hang-ups now. With new technology being what it is it only takes one ring at a person's (receiving phone to activate some of the new technology being used which locks the caller's phone number in, even when they use by-pass alternate numbers to make shrewd calls).  We are advised one caller is facing terrorism criminal charges even though he used three different go-through numbers ranging all around the world, but were found to originate their call from California.  Hmmm.... what does this tell you?   Others, we are advised were found to be out of Michigan, Ohio, even Illinois and another state.

It is known that a telephone number showing up on some caller I.D.'s may actually be a telephone service provider phone number, yet... they too keep logs and information as to each individual cellular or local (their locale) phone usage...

In the not-to-distant future, we intend to post some of those telephone numbers and, hopefully, persons, which constantly show up as "harassing hang-up" callers.  May be, you too have the same?

Keep Watch!

Those who do such unscrupulous things, HATE some of the news, quotes, and such as to inform the general public.  Some of them pose as clergy, while a few are actually clergy from various "other" offshoot AMERICAN ORTHODOX CHURCH or other jurisdiction(s) of the same or similar name of which we are, in some instances, their former MOTHER CHURCH (as is the same named Toledo, Ohio based, an offshoot, who had once been a part of us and unknowingly to our unworthy selves, were once a part of the clergy but they did not obtain permission to leave the jurisdiction they were under, according to Canon, and thus obtained for themselves re-ordination and consecrations, several times... and then using a variety of church names, including our own after they were defrocked and excommunicated, having more than three (3) times being excommunicated by other legitimate apostles/bishops); having joined in and with  "Independent" churches who have nothing to do with us or even true Orthodoxy.  We have the information on their numerous "Paper Church" names and name changes.  But the real issue is whether they were ever truly an ordained Priest and bishop?

It is true that when one is ordained to the priesthood, the old saying of "Once a Priest, always a priest forever..." holds true... But where there has been or is deception and fraud involved, the old saying is invalid altogether which is the stool kicked out from under any subsequent consecrations as a Bishop for the Episcopacy has then been obtained on a sheet of lies and therefore they are frauds, wolves in sheep's clothing.  The problem here is with civil authorities and agencies.

Any documents a false one obtains from those who ordained him, including subsequent documents relating to consecrations; civil authorities never (or hardly ever) verify their validity and thus issue their own documents and errantly recognize the individual.

These false sheep in wolf's clothing seek to go out of their way to character assassinate and disparage religious web sites who do not meet their own brand of standardization and those who know where the proverbial "bones are buried on them" which is evidence of the wolf not being "Orthodox" "Christian" or even "Catholic" no matter what their nomenclature corporate name may be.  The Toldeo, Ohio based same or similar named person/group under his/their so-called leader has been deposed, defrocked and excommunicated more than three different times by various bishops/apostles.  He, and several others, have become just as bad as the modern day Ecumenists of the National Council of Churches, World Council of Churches, the World Council of Bishops and more.  It matters not now... whether they use the so-called name of "Athonite" "Benedictine" "Celtic" "Old Roman" "Old Catholic" - etc..  A name does not make one Christian. Their ultimate aim and goal is destruction to those from whom they had either originated from or gone through to obtain the same or similar named "church" they claim to hold to by the state's civil law in which they reside alone.  They are not a "Schema-monk" or even a true "monk" for they were deposed and excommunicated for violations of the Holy Rule they claim to subscribe to, giving and openly providing false misleading and inaccurate information about other more honorable clergy.  These 'wolves in sheep's clothing attract other nefarious and questionable persons whose aims are similar: for fame, image, power and glory, and if it should be that 'fortunes' come along, all the more is their power based.

Remember, anything that is a HALF TRUTH is not truth but a lie!  Many there are that you may know who fit those descriptions... pray for them.  Pray that God will send his Spirit of Truth upon them and lead them to Salvation through tears of Repentance, conversion of their cold and calculating hearts toward seeking forgiveness from God and those whom they attempt to harm.

Those who receive e-mail from us, know who we are and from where we send mail.  There are also many who know that they can send e-mail under another group or person's e-mail address, which has been happening.  If you receive e-mail that purports itself to be from us, verify first by hitting your "reply" button and ask, "I received this e-mail but would like verification if it is from you.

If you are of another jurisdiction, you too could find that your parishioners, clergy and faithful might become subject to the same as we have recently found.

Let this be a warning to visitors so as to be safeguarded against unscrupulous e-mails which contain viruses, worms and unsavory material from person(s) organizations or institutions that are more self-serving than uplifting and informatively news worthy.

For ourselves, we have, as in the past, so once again, acquired the assistance of those who are able and capable of tracing e-mails back to their source and taking appropriate action in North America.

We have learned that the organization we subscribe to, whose members come from various legal and law enforcement backgrounds amongst other areas of society, are committed to the faith even though they may hold different theologies.  Yet, in their monitoring of electronic communications of various persons or people, they do not always make haste to bring perpetrators to justice until after enough evidence has been gained in order to build a solid case.  We do not always know what information they have gained, but we do know the organization, whom we've been asked not to name, has had a 97% success rate in bringing to justice and obtaining a conviction against individuals, people, and sometimes even religious organizations of a persona that gives the appearance of both secular and religious bearing but who abuse and misuse technology.  The organization views those who abuse and misuse the internet and other technologies as nothing more than a form of "domestic terrorism" - - - - and, it would seem to appear that the courts are in agreement!

Those kinds of people, organizations, etc. who misuse and abuse communication technologies are no different than those who attempt to use coercive measures, and in some instance, even blackmail for the same idea is involved... to cause havoc and wreckage, to destroy the spirit and activity of those who struggle in the faith out of pain of heart for the Orthodox Church which is TRUTH. The degree that some have been known to go to, as seen by other jurisdictions, is to take advantage of questionably mentally challenged or those who have a lack of education and understanding to get them to make statements, even outright lies, in writing, in order to destroy.  Such persons or groups are spiritual terrorists for unholy and un-Orthodox causes, aims and goals.

Yes, our Metropolitan Archbishop, +Joseph Thaddeus, SSJt., Ph.D. strongly defends the Seals of the Confessional for such leads to true Repentance in thought, word and deed whereby the penitent is required to make amends, where possible, to seek forgiveness of those harmed by his actions whether real or imagined, and to give his forgiveness to those who have harmed him before taking the Holy Body and Blood in the Eucharist, Jesus the Christ.  The reality of this understanding is bound up in and with the findings for which cause he, himself, had been character assassinated by his detractors who claim the courts prevented him from breaking the Seals of the Confessional which is not the truth at all.... Click here to see what another bishop's findings are...

The workings of Holy Spirit will not be daunted by those who attempt to cause disruption!  It is for these and other reasons that you are urged to read what true repentance and forgiveness means for real "Christians".

About:, and

We are an educational, News-informational and research Web Site dedicated to providing such as befits those who seek things pertinent to the Orthodox Catholic Christian Faith and life.

A few have sent us inquiries as to why we post information and/or articles relating to what might be considered as political and sometimes from other Protestants .  And the reply is much the same as it states on the entry page....  We Are:

A Non-Profit Religious Hosting Service

an Educational, News, Informational and Research Web Site dedicated to providing such as befits those who seek things pertinent to the Orthodox Catholic Christian Faith and life for various

Traditional Orthodox Jurisdictions

While the answer and question above is not sufficient for some to understand, we take the view (which we believe is ORTHODOX) that all things pertinent to life and living affects, and has an effect, upon not just our belief (Orthodox), but (for many) the way in which we act in accordance with our belief, our very faith.

Because this is a highly Protestant Country in which we live, having an effect upon the laws of the land, we should know something of what is on-going and where efforts by those denominations may affect and have a intrinsic effect on our very laws, for such does have an effect upon our daily lives as Orthodox Catholic Christians.

If one is not cognizant of the real events happening both locally and in the world, although many are removed from the world... one will not know what to expect or what to do, or how one can or cannot act which might betray one's faith and accrue the wrath of civil authorities as laws change.  Yet, we are also reminded that these things must happen and it was for that which there exists many early Christian Martyrs and Saints.

While we can remove ourselves from the world, we still live in it.  And for the faithful, theirs is a struggle for knowledge and understanding.  All things are pertinent to the Orthodox Catholic Christian Faith which is the very foundation of Christianity.  As such, we can not abandon them and leave them blind to events and happenings.

What we post as related to those things similar to various articles which might have a political theme or non-Orthodox Catholic Christian content of sorts ... does not mean or imply that we are supportive of, for, or against something articulated in an article, so much as it is NEWS and our faithful should be made aware, for such may be the very thing that will impact their day-to-day life.  It is for them, their free will... to judge the relevancy.

Remember, not all Protestants, especially hard core cultic groups such as "Charismatic" - "Evangelical" "Promise Keepers" "Church of Christ" "Methodism" "Pentecostals" "Jehovah's Witnesses" "Mormons" and other people are not so generous in their viciousness toward anyone and anything that appears "Catholic" whether of the Roman or Orthodox jurisdictions, for they do not know or want to learn that which makes them "different" in their walk and talk as being far from the roots of Christianity.

Remember, it is the Roman jurisdiction of the Catholic Church which has more outwardly shown that it can be one of the most vicious toward those who are not Roman but are very much "Catholic" - for the sun and moon does not rise and set on the Vatican (Latin or Roman) jurisdiction as to who is or is not "Catholic" for the Roman jurisdiction split (schismed) from the roots of "Catholicism" which is founded in what is termed and called today as "Orthodoxy".

“I prefer a defeat accompanied by humility to a victory accompanied by pride.”

                                                                               --An Elder

"It would be better to have ten (10) true repentant X-felons who ask for and give true forgiveness than it would be to have one (1) non-x-felon or common person whose self-righteousness exceeds even the Pharisees, Sadducees, the gossip mongers, slanderers and un-repentant; for the repentant x-felon understands the true meaning of the Church's purpose as being the spiritual hospital." (siq) +Joseph Thaddeus, OSB, SSJt., Ph.D., Metropolitan Archbishop, Archabbot, Primate

Yes... "Prejudice Makes Prisoners of the Hated and the Hater..." (1992-Fr. Alan Stanford)

One can ask, "What part of 'Prejudice' and 'hate' do you not understand?  Are you a complacent person?  In light of the saying, examine yourself!  You may be surprised if you are honest with yourself for your soul may convict you before Jesus Christ convicts you in the times to come!

"When tested by some trial you should try to find out not why or through whom it came, but only how to endure it gratefully, without distress or rancor."

St. Mark the Ascetic.

Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, Whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord does not impute iniquity, And in whose spirit there is no deceit." Psalms 32:1-2
