“To achieve One World Government it is necessary to remove from the minds of men their individualism, their loyalty to family traditions and national identification. ”
We cannot deny the true nature of the United Nations, especially when the truth comes right from the mouths of those in the UN.
The following statement came from Kofi Annan, the Secretary General of the United Nations:
“With the forces of globalization on the rise and the interdependence of the world’s people growing, citizens of the nation states must act also as global citizens with a major role accruing to the United Nations in the effort to reach truly multilateral decisions.”
Annan went on to say: “Citizens need to think and act globally so as to influence global decisions. And that means that the United Nations, in order to play its part, must live up to the first words of its Charter, ‘WE THE PEOPLES’.”
It is very plain to see that the UN wants us to relinquish our national sovereignty and independence and become citizens of a One World Government, and to think that we were told that the UN was formed to be a peace-keeping organization. I don’t know of any situation where the UN has kept the peace, do you? Instead, they have involved themselves, more and more, into our private lives. UN plans also call for the replacing of all Christian based religions with a One World Religion based more or less on the Gaia hypothesis, the paganistic worship of “mother earth” (the institution of “Earth Day” as a world wide holiday is part of this effort) having its roots in the Temple of Understanding.
THE MILLENIUM WORLD PEACE SUMMIT OF RELIGIOUS AND SPIRITUAL LEADERS COMMITMENT TO GLOBAL PEACE
“Humanity stands at a critical juncture in history, one that calls for strong moral and spiritual leadership to help set a new direction for society (can anyone say ‘social manipulation’?). We, as religious and spiritual leaders, recognize our special responsibility for the well-being of the human family and peace on earth (wolves in sheep’s clothing leading their flocks on the path toward spiritual and physical destruction).
Whereas the United Nations and the religions of the world have a common concern for human dignity, justice and peace (oh, really?);
Whereas we accept that men and women are equal partners in all aspects of life and children are the hope of the future;
Whereas religions have contributed to the peace of the world but also have been used to create divisions and fuel hostilities;
Whereas our world is plagued by violence, war and destruction, which are sometimes perpetrated by in the name of religion;
Whereas armed conflict is a dire tragedy for the human lives ruined and lost, for the larger living world, and for the future of our religious and spiritual traditions;
Whereas no individual, group or nation can any longer live as an isolated microcosm in our interdependent world, but rather all must realize that our every action has an impact on others and the emerging global community;
Whereas in an interdependent world, peace requires agreement on fundamental ethical values (what in God’s name is ethical about abortion, euthanasia, same-sex marriage, etc.?);
Whereas there can be no real peace until all groups and communities acknowledge the cultural and religious diversity of the human family in a spirit of mutual respect and understanding;
Whereas building peace requires an attitude of reverence for life (how do you teach a reverence for life when you are, at the same time, advocating the right to abortion and the right to euthanasia?), freedom and justice, the eradication of poverty (they actually mean the eradication of the perception of poverty, through the redistribution of wealth, making everybody poor, except for a select few), and the protection of the environment for present and future generations;
Whereas a true culture of peace must be founded upon the cultivation of the inner dimension of peace, which is the heritage of the religious and spiritual traditions;
Whereas religious and spiritual traditions are a core source of the realization of a better life for the human family and all life on earth.
In light of the above, and with a view to discharging our duty to the human family, we declare our commitment and determination:
1)1) To collaborate with the United Nations and all men and women of good will locally, regionally and globally in the pursuit of peace in all its dimensions;
2) To lead humanity by word and deed in a renewed commitment to ethical and spiritual values, which include a deep sense of respect for all life and for each person’s inherent dignity and right to live in a world free from violence;
3) To manage and resolve, non-violently, the conflicts generated by religious and ethnic differences, and to condemn all violence committed in the name of religion while seeking to remove the roots of the violence (so, I suppose violence would end if we all just embrace Satan?);
4) To appeal to all religious communities and ethnic and national groups to respect the right to freedom of religion, to seek reconciliation, and to engage in mutual forgiveness and healing;
5) To awaken in all individuals and communities a sense of shared responsibility for the well being of the human family as a whole, and a recognition that all human beings, regardless of religion, race, gender and ethnic origin, have the right to education, health care, and an opportunity to achieve a secure and sustainable livelihood;
6) To promote equitable distribution of wealth (this is a socialistic/communistic idea of taking money from those who have earned it and giving it to those who have not) within nations and among nations, eradicating poverty and reversing the current trend toward a widening gap between rich and poor (again, the old failed communist idea of making everyone poor, while a select few live the good life, mainly those who are in the ruling class);
7) To educate our communities about the urgent need to care for the earth’s ecological systems and all forms of life and to support efforts to make environmental protection and restoration integral to all development planning and activity (this will involve the “re-wilding of vast urban and sub-urban areas, as well as culling a major portion of the human race…. More about this later [Apostle1.com's Editorial Note: a portion of the State of New Mexico, primarily Luna County, is affected by this 'Agenda 21']);
8) To develop and promote a global reforestation campaign as a concrete and practical means for environmental restoration, calling upon others to join us in regional tree planting programs;
9) To join with the United Nations in the call for all nation states to work for the universal abolition of nuclear weapons and other weapons of mass destruction for the safety and security of life on this planet;
10) To combat those commercial practices and applications of technology that degrades the environment and the quality of human life;
11) To practice and promote in our communities the values of the inner dimensions of peace, including especially study, prayer and meditation, a sense of the sacred, humility, love, compassion, tolerance and a spirit of service, which are fundamental.
“We as spiritual and religious leaders pledge our commitment to work together to promote the inner and outer conditions that foster peace and the non-violent management and resolution of conflict. We appeal to the followers of all religious traditions and to the human community as a whole to cooperate in building peaceful societies, to seek mutual understanding through dialogue where there are differences, to refrain from violence, to practice compassion, and to uphold the dignity of all life.”
Bawa Jain, Secretary General of the Millennium World Peace Summit of Religious and Spiritual Leaders
In 1998, in a speech given to a group of religious leaders, during a week-long celebration of the founding of the United Nations, Kofi Annan made the following statement:
“We (meaning the UN) are setting up a One World Church to which all are welcome, including the Christians, but they MUST be willing to give up their belief that Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven (in other words, we Christians are to ignore one of the very teachings of Jesus Himself). If they are not willing, or refuse to do so, they will HAVE to be dealt with.”
That statement should be very troubling and frightening to all TRUE believers in Jesus Christ!
“The state of your world has been reduced by immorality. The state of your world is capitulating now to all of the forces of the octopus that will seek to bring about a One World Religion and a One World Government under a supreme dictator of EVIL.”
Our Lady of the Roses, March 18, 1978
According to an INSIGHT magazine report in 2000, the following was stated:
“Bawa Jain, Secretary General of the United Nations Millennium Peace Summit, says he thinks ‘all religions and spiritualists, as well as assorted witch doctors, shamans and medicine men draw their wisdom from the same source’. But he applauds efforts to outlaw proselytizing since it matters little whether one worships a downed World War II airplane with a cargo cult, is a snake-handling Baptist or a Roman Catholic (gee, I wonder if
Jesus knows this?). That view has been met with strict opposition from the Vatican (at least the Vatican did something right) and mainline Protestants, who oppose the notion that all religions are equal (I doubt that Pope John Paul II still felt that way, since he allowed a statue of Buddha to be placed top of the Tabernacle on the main altar of St. Peters, during a religious ceremony with the Dalai Lama)
Hosting a United Nations Millennium Peace Summit of Religious and Spiritual Leaders (the same one at which Kofi Annan made his frightening statements), Jain told an international meeting of 1,000 delegates that religions need to accept the validity of all beliefs to attain world peace.
The summit, the first of its kind to be sponsored by the United Nations, was held in New York City, August 28-31, 1998, just before political leaders gathered for the United Nations Millennium Assembly. The timing was perfect, says Jain, as it allowed religious leaders to update their political counterparts on how to usher in the peace of the New World Order through religious universalism.
Representatives of all religious faiths from some 50 countries have held regular meetings since 1995 for the purpose of creating a one global religion according to a United Religions Initiative.
During their four-year history, URI has sponsored numerous global events, six regional conferences and three global summits in San Francisco (one of the most Godless cities in the United States) 1996 – 1998.
Critics of the initiative question the rationale for the adoption of such a globalized religion and question what “entity” -- taken from Christianity or another faith – the religion will choose to sanctify. Based on URI’s published statements that entity appears to be focused more on earthly “spirits” than on God or Jesus Christ.
In Part B; I will continue with the One World Government and One World Religion and get into the One World Banking System.
