Hiding in the Bushes as Lebanon Bleeds

If President Thomas Woodrow Wilson had been cloned with the loss of cerebral genetic matter in the process of cloning the result would have been George Walker Bush, who believes that bloodletting will pave the way for the salve that cures all ills in the world, democracy.

President Bush said yesterday, July 31, 2006, that the Mohammedan terrorist group Hezbollah "started it" (nah, nanny, nuuuuu nu, ninny, ninny, na, na), implying that it was just too bad that Israel had to defend itself as part of the "Global War on Terror" by bombing the infrastructure in Lebanon to smithereens while killing over 500 civilians and displacing untold thousands more from their homes. Bush's callous enabling of the bloodthirsty, racist killers in Jerusalem apes quite nicely President Wilson's diffidence when asked by a representative of the Catholic Church to use American military force to stop the bloodletting of Catholics in the second decade of the Twentieth Century. The account, as recorded in Robert Leckie's Catholic and American, of the meeting between Wilson and a Father Kelly, who was representing the American bishops, is bone chilling:

“I have no doubt but that the terrible things you mention have happened during the Mexican revolution. But terrible things happened also during the French Revolution, perhaps more terrible things than have happened in Mexico. Nevertheless, out of that French Revolution came the liberal ideas that have dominated in so many countries, including our own. I hope that out of the bloodletting in Mexico some such good yet may come.”

Having thus instructed his caller in the benefits which must perforce accrue to mankind out of the systematic robbery, murder, torture and rape of people holding a proscribed religious conviction, the professor of politics [Wilson] suggested that Father Kelley visit Secretary of State Williams Jennings Bryan, who expressed his deepest sympathy. Obviously, the Wilson administration was committed to supporting the revolutionaries (Leckie, p. 274).

Well, this is what Bush believes in our own day. Maybe "democracy" will spring forth from all of the shedding of innocent blood in the Middle East, including the innocent blood that has been shed by this nation in Iraq. Democracy will solve all, just as did in the aftermath of World War I, which the United States entered, Woodrow Wilson preached, to "make the world safe for democracy." Too bad if lots and lots of innocent people have to die in this gigantic global exercise in social engineering that has become contemporary warfare, which has made a mockery of the [Roman] Catholic concept of the just war fought, as far as is humanly possible, with at least some view keep in mind of the binding precepts of the Divine positive law and the natural law. Oh, no, modern warfare will make man better because it will cause him to live in the joys of the democratic society. This is, as Pope Gregory XVI noted in Mirari Vos when discussing the error of civil liberty, insanity.

Bush's righteous indignation about the "right" of Israel to fulfill what Father Denis Fahey, C.SS.P., noted in The Mystical Body of Christ in the Modern World was the Jewish nation's warfare against Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Make no mistake about it, ladies and gentlemen: the leaders of Israel are not only bombing Lebanon because members of Hezbollah launch attacks on Israeli cities from positions in the southern part of Lebanon. Oh, no. The leaders of Israel are bombing Lebanon indiscriminately because it contains the two groups of people they hate the most: Christians and Mohammedans.

Father Louis Campbell, the pastor of Saint Jude Chapel in Stafford, Texas, noted the following in a sermon for the Seventh Sunday after Pentecost that was posted on the Daily Catholic website: ( "And I Saw No Temple Therein" ):

Jesus Christ is the Great Prophet foretold by Moses, Whom all nations and peoples must hear and obey, lest they be "destroyed from among the people." Jesus was not a mere prophet, like Moses, Jeremiah, or Isaiah. In Jesus there resided the prophetic gift in all its fullness. When God speaks, we must listen in fear and trembling (cf. Isaias 66:5).

Though they have rejected the Great Prophet, the Jews still think that the promises made to Abraham are theirs, and that all the lands promised to the ancient Israelites are theirs by right, and will be theirs in fact. This means that no one else who occupies these lands, be they Palestinians, Lebanese, or whatever, have any rights, and that they can be dispossessed of the lands they have occupied for millennia. The ancient Israelites, whose heirs they imagine themselves to be, were commanded by God to exterminate the Philistines, were they not? And who are the descendants of the Philistines? Why, the Palestinians and the Lebanese, of course! Their rights can be ignored with impunity.

Then there are those of the Christian Fundamentalist Right in the Unites States, the Christian Zionists, who support Israeli claims, egged on by such false prophets as Jerry Falwell, Hal Lindsey, Jack Van Impe, and John Hagee. Thousands of evangelical Christians recently arrived from all 50 states in Washington, where they have enormous political influence, for the first annual summit of Christians United for Israel, Hagee being the main organizer.

• "For the first time in the history of Christianity in America," Hagee said, "Christians will go to the Hill to support Israel as Christians." They will urge the US government "not to restrain Israel in any way in the pursuit of Hamas and Hezbollah… We want our Congress to make sure that not one dime of American money goes to support Hamas and Hezbollah or the enemies of Israel."

• Then Hagee declares: "When they see what's going on in the Middle East, a whole range of enemies arrayed against God's people, they see God's word being played out on their television sets. They see Israel triumphing over its enemies as proof that God's promises remain" ( http://news.bbc.co.uk/go/pr/fr/-/2/hi/americas/5193092.stm).

It is as if Jesus Christ never came and established a New Covenant in His Blood, and founded the Holy Catholic Church. God's promises were fulfilled in Jesus Christ and in those who follow Him. Hagee, and those like him, have an Old Testament theological viewpoint, and have betrayed Jesus Christ, in Whom the Scriptures are fulfilled. Who are God's people but those who have believed in His word and obey His commands, whether Jews or not? According to St. Paul, "There is neither Jew nor Greek; there is neither slave nor freeman; there is neither male nor female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ's, then you are the offspring of Abraham, heirs according to promise" (Galatians 3:28,29).

The Jews are children of Abraham according to the flesh only, natural descendants. Some of them, that is. Are those whom we call Jews today the descendants of the Jews who were dispersed among the nations after the destruction of Jerusalem by the Romans in 70 A.D., or even of the ten tribes that were carried off into captivity by the ancient Assyrians in 721 B.C.? On the contrary, most Jews today are the so-called Ashkenazi Jews, descended from the ancient Khazars of Eastern Europe. Despite their prominence in the Jewish community they do not have Jewish blood, but were converted to Judaism in the ninth century. They do not have Jewish blood, and they follow the modern Jewish Talmudic religion. How does that make them "God's people," and the "inheritors of the promises"?

On May 14, 1948, on the day in which the British Mandate over Palestine expired, the Jewish People's Council gathered at the Tel Aviv Museum and declared the establishment of the State of Israel. The new state was recognized that night by the United States, and three days later by the USSR. The Vatican, out of concern for the safety of the Holy Places and the rights of the Palestinians, many of whom are Catholic, did not recognize the modern state of Israel until John Paul II, fervently pro-Jewish, gave it official Vatican recognition on April 20, 1984.

Contrary to what the Jewish Zionists expect, they will not reign as masters of the world from Jerusalem. The servile nations will not come to Mount Zion bearing gifts. Pray for the Jews! They will be all but exterminated except for the remnant who will turn to Jesus Christ and be saved.

And contrary to what the Christian Zionists expect, the Temple will not be rebuilt, and 144,000 Jews will not be converted to reign with Jesus Christ from the Temple in Jerusalem for a thousand years.

Talmudic Jews and Mohammedans, as noted above, are both steeped in the ravages of Original Sin. Neither fear the moment of a Particular Judgment. They are thus prone of their very natures to kill the people they hate. Indeed, the Talmud and the Koran each instructs its adherents to hate. The Talmud instructs Jews to hate Christians and to treat them like dogs. The Koran incites violence against both Christians and Jews. Mohammedans believe themselves to be possessors of the true religion as they worship the false god named "allah." Talmudic Jews and their Christian Zionist enablers in this country believe, each for their own fallacious reasons, that the State of Israel is the New Zion favored by God. Wrong.

The New Zion is the Catholic Church. It is she alone who is meant to rule over the nations by giving them the only salve that soothes the wounds caused by injustices, both real and imagined, and that leads to authentic reconciliation between former enemies: Sanctifying Grace. Longstanding enmities do not dissipate overnight. True. Injustices need to be redressed as far as is possible in this mortal value of tears. Absolutely. Wrongdoers need to be brought to the bar of justice and to pay a debt to civil society for their misdeeds. Without a question. As Pope Leo XIII noted in Tametsi Futura Prospicientibus , November 1, 1900, something else is needed. That something else is supernatural Faith in God as He has revealed Himself through His true Church, the Catholic Church. It is this alone that leads men to forgive each other as they have been forgiven in the Baptismal font and as they are forgiven on a frequent basis in the Sacred Tribunal of Penance. It is this alone that leads men to pray together at the Immemorial Mass of Tradition and to beseech the Mother of God in common as they pray her Most Holy Rosary, hoping and praying that they will be united for all eternity in the glories of an unending Easter Sunday of bliss before the Beatific Vision of Father, Son, and Holy Ghost in Heaven.

This is what Pope Leo wrote in Tametsi :

So great is this struggle of the passions and so serious the dangers involved, that we must either anticipate ultimate ruin or seek for an efficient remedy. It is of course both right and necessary to punish malefactors, to educate the masses, and by legislation to prevent crime in every possible way: but all this is by no means sufficient. The salvation of the nations must be looked for higher. A power greater than human must be called in to teach men's hearts, awaken in them the sense of duty, and make them better. This is the power which once before saved the world from destruction when groaning under much more terrible evils. Once remove all impediments and allow the Christian spirit to revive and grow strong in a nation, and that nation will be healed. The strife between the classes and the masses will die away; mutual rights will be respected. If Christ be listened to, both rich and poor will do their duty. The former will realise that they must observe justice and charity, the latter self-restraint and moderation, if both are to be saved. Domestic life will be firmly established ( by the salutary fear of God as the Lawgiver. In the same way the precepts of the natural law, which dictates respect for lawful authority and obedience to the laws, will exercise their influence over the people. Seditions and conspiracies will cease. Wherever Christianity rules over all without let or hindrance there the order established by Divine Providence is preserved, and both security and prosperity are the happy result. The common welfare, then, urgently demands a return to Him from whom we should never have gone astray; to Him who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life,-and this on the part not only of individuals but of society as a whole. We must restore Christ to this His own rightful possession. All elements of the national life must be made to drink in the Life which proceedeth from Him- legislation, political institutions, education, marriage and family life, capital and labour. Everyone must see that the very growth of civilisation which is so ardently desired depends greatly upon this, since it is fed and grows not so much by material wealth and prosperity, as by the spiritual qualities of morality and virtue.

The carnage in the Middle East will continue ad infinitum until Our Lady's Fatima Message is fulfilled. Neither American-sponsored "peace plans" or Benedict's impassioned pleas for "inter-religious dialogue" and "mutual understanding" will stop the carnage, although there will be cessations of violence now and again for relatively brief periods of time before the devil incites those in his clutches by means of Original Sin to start killing each other anew with even greater ferocity. The Zionists who lead Israel know that American politicians will stand by and say nothing, fearing being called "anti-Semitic," as they unleash their diabolical fury on  innocent men, women and children as they did so barbarically and unrepentantly on July 30, 2006, in Qana, Lebanon. Mohammedans will continue their own quest to destroy Jews and the Americans who enable them. And on and on and on it will go until we have a pope who will obey Our Lady and fulfill her Fatima Message completely.

Until that time, however, we do not remain inert in our own lives. Not at all. What can we do? Well, apart from the exhortations about the pursuit of personal sanctity by cleaving to the fullness of Tradition without compromise and by fleeing from everything there is to do with conciliarism, it is time for traditional Catholic bishops, including those who are more at war with each other than they are with the Modernist Rome of the Conciliar Church, to start winning more converts to the Catholic Faith. It is time for men who dearly love God to quit the insanity of excommunicating each other and to focus on evangelizing the Faith. What do I mean? Well, it's quite simple, really.

The Apostles began the work of evangelization on Pentecost Sunday. Although the scions of conciliarism eschew what term, pejoratively, as "proselytism," it is incumbent upon traditional Catholic bishops and priests and lay people to seek, as far as is humanly possible, to invite those outside of the one Sheepfold of Christ into her maternal bosom. We start with our own families. Of course. However, as has been noted several times on this site, we can do this by carrying Miraculous Medals and Green Scapulars on our persons, handing them out to those who encounter in stores or gasoline stations or doctor's offices or restaurants or other places of business. This is not difficult. If we want to take our obligations as confirmed soldiers in the Army of Christ seriously then we ought to arm ourselves with the weapons (the sacramentals) that have been given to us to help souls find their way into the true Church and thence to endeavor to cooperate with the graces she makes present to sanctify and thus to save their souls.

The devil knows that he loses in the end. He knows that Our Lady's Immaculate Heart will triumph. He wants, though, to cause as much ruin as he can before that victory. Relying upon the Heavenly weapons that Holy Mother Church has provided us, we can thwart the devil's advances in our own lives and in the lives of others and in the larger life of this country (where terror cells, namely, abortuaries, abound) and of the world by seeking the conversion of souls to the Catholic Church. The example of Father Daniel Johnson, the now-retired pastor of Saint Mary's by the Sea Church in Huntington Beach, California, who brought 557 people, including Jews and Mohammedans, into the Catholic Church by personally walking his parish boundaries three times in twenty-five years, should inspire us all. We simply need more Catholics on their knees before the Blessed Sacrament and praying to the Mother of God. It is really that simple.

As a sinner, a Catholic understands that it is the conversion of sinners, not their deaths, that God wills. Saint Stephen prayed for the conversion of the man who presided at his stoning, Saul of Tarsus. Saint Maria Goretti prayed for the conversion of the man who murdered her. We must pray for the conversion of the Jews and Mohammedans.

Without minimizing Talmudic Jewish hatred and mistreatment of Catholics, especially in Poland at the time, and without in any way surrendering to the notion of "religious liberty" endorsed by conciliarism, Pope Benedict XIV specifically condemned the schemes of a monk named Radulph five centuries before to seek the death of Jews rather than their conversion. Writing in A Quo Primum (not to be confused with Pope Saint Pius V's Quo Primum of 1570) on June 14, 1751, Pope Benedict XIV noted:

The famous monk, Radulph, inspired long ago by an excess of zeal, was so inflamed against the Jews that he traversed Germany and France in the twelfth century and, by preaching against the Jews as the enemies of our holy religion, incited Christians to destroy them. This resulted in the deaths of a very large number of Jews. What must we think his deeds or thoughts would be if he were now alive and saw what was happening in Poland? But the great St. Bernard opposed this immoderate and maddened zeal of Radulph, and wrote to the clergy and people of eastern France: "The Jews are not to be persecuted: they are not to be slaughtered: they are not even to be driven out. Examine the divine writings concerning them. We read in the psalm a new kind of prophecy concerning the Jews: God has shown me, says the Church, on the subject of my enemies, not to slay them in case they should ever forget my people. Alive, however, they are eminent reminders for us of the Lord's suffering. On this account they are scattered through all lands in order that they may be witnesses to Our redemption while they pay the just penalties for so great a crime" (epistle 363). And he writes this to Henry, Archbishop of Mainz: "Doesn't the Church every day triumph more fully over the Jews in convicting or converting them than if once and for all she destroyed them with the edge of the sword: Surely it is not in vain that the Church has established the universal prayer which is offered up for the faithless Jews from the rising of the sun to its setting, that the Lord God may remove the veil from their hearts, that they may be rescued from their darkness into the light of truth. For unless it hoped that those who do not believe would believe, it would obviously be futile and empty to pray for them." (epistle 365).

In a stinging rebuke to the blithe acceptance of pluralism by the likes of Benedict XVI,  Pope Benedict XIV went on to assert the right of Catholic countries to forbid Jews from living in common with Catholics (which would extend also to Mohammedans in our own day):

Peter, abbot of Cluny, likewise wrote against Radulph to King Louis of France, and urged him not to allow the destruction of the Jews. But at the same time he encouraged him to punish their excesses and to strip them of the property they had taken from Christians or had acquired by usury; he should then devote the value of this to the use and benefit of holy religion, as may be seen in the Annals of Venerable Cardinal Baronius (1146). In this matter, as in all others, We adopt the same norm of action as did the Roman Pontiffs who were Our venerable predecessors. Alexander III forbade Christians under heavy penalties to accept permanent domestic service under Jews. "Let them not continually devote themselves to the service of Jews for a wage." He sets out the reason for this in the decretal Ad haec, de Judaeis . "Because Jewish ways do not harmonize in any way with ours and they could easily turn the minds of the simple to their own superstitions and faithlessness through continual intercourse and unceasing acquaintance." Innocent III, after saying that Jews were being received by Christians into their cities, warns that the method and condition of this reception should guard against their repaying the benefit with evildoing. "They on being admitted to our acquaintance in a spirit of mercy, repay us, the popular proverb says, as the mouse in the wallet, the snake in the lap and fire in the bosom usually repay their host." The same Pope stated that it was fitting for Jews to serve Christians rather than vice versa and added: "Let not the sons of the free woman be servants of the sons of the handmaid; but as servants rejected by their lord for whose death they evilly conspired, let them realize that the result of this deed is to make them servants of those whom Christ's death made free," as we read in his decretal Etsi Judaeos . Likewise in the decretal Cum sit nimis under the same heading de Judaeis, et Saracenis , he forbids the promotion of Jews to public office: "forbidding Jews to be promoted to public offices since in such circumstances they may be very dangerous to Christians." Innocent IV, also, in writing to St. Louis, King of France, who intended to drive the Jews beyond the boundaries of his kingdom, approves of this plan since the Jews gave very little heed to the regulations made by the Apostolic See in their regard: "Since We strive with all Our heart for the salvation of souls, We grant you full power by the authority of this letter to expel the Jews, particularly since We have learned that they do not obey the said statutes issued by this See against them" (Raynaldus, Annals, A.D. 1253, no. 34).

But if it is asked what matters the Apostolic See forbids to Jews living in the same cities as Christians, We will say that all those activities which are now allowed in Poland are forbidden; these We recounted above. There is no need of much reading to understand that this is the clear truth of the matter. It is enough to peruse decretals with the heading de Judaeis, et Saracenis ; the constitutions of Our predecessors, the Roman Pontiffs Nicholas IV, Paul IV, St. Pius V, Gregory XIII and Clement VIII are readily available in the Roman Bullarium. To understand these matters most clearly, Venerable Brothers, you do not even need to read those. You will recall the statutes and prescripts of the synods of your predecessors; they always entered in their constitutions every measure concerning the Jews which was sanctioned and ordained by the Roman Pontiffs.

Quite a contrast with conciliarism, huh?

Well, our world is no longer Catholic. We no longer have Catholic princes. We do not have Catholic rulers. Indeed, most Catholics in public life are committed to the promotion of abject evils under the cover of law. They are reprobates, veritable Judases and Pilates rolled into one. Pluralism has triumphed. We do find ourselves living in common with people who adhere to false "religions" or to no religion at all. We, therefore, must seek to convert those people whom God puts in our paths on a daily basis. This is one way we can help to bring about the Triumph of Our Lady's Fatima Message. Don't ever doubt the power of the graces won for us on Calvary by the shedding of every single drop of Our Lord's Most Precious Blood. That power is as strong now as it was when the Apostles, aided by Our Lady's prayers, went forth from the Upper Room in Jerusalem on Pentecost Sunday. We are aided by Our Lady's prayers today, are we not? Why do we reckon that we cannot help win converts to the Faith, including Jews and Mohammedans?

It is not "democracy" that will save the world. It is Catholicism. Pope Leo XIII noted this in Sapientiae Christianae , January 10, 1890:

The chief elements of this duty consist in professing openly and unflinchingly the Catholic doctrine, and in propagating it to the utmost of our power. For, as is often said, with the greatest truth, there is nothing so hurtful to Christian wisdom as that it should not be known, since it possesses, when loyally received, inherent power to drive away error. So soon as Catholic truth is apprehended by a simple and unprejudiced soul, reason yields assent.

George W. Bush--and those of both political parties in this country who are hiding under the bushes with him as Lebanon is crushed by Israel once again--does not know this in large measure because conciliarists such as Benedict XVI have rejected this exhortation, making their peace with the "modern" world. The innocent blood in Lebanon is not only on the hands of American politicians of both major political parties. The innocent blood in Lebanon is on the hands of the conciliarists who refuse to be faithful to the injunction given by Our Lord to convert all men to the Catholic Faith, including Jews and Mohammedans, and who refuse stubbornly to obey Our Lady as they mouth platitudes about peace that ignore, once again, the plain words of a previous pope (one of those "preconciliar" types, you know):

It is possible to sum up all We have said in one word, "the Kingdom of Christ." For Jesus Christ reigns over the minds of individuals by His teachings, in their hearts by His love, in each one's life by the living according to His law and the imitating of His example. Jesus reigns over the family when it, modeled after the holy ideals of the sacrament of matrimony instituted by Christ, maintains unspotted its true character of sanctuary. In such a sanctuary of love, parental authority is fashioned after the authority of God, the Father, from Whom, as a matter of fact, it originates and after which even it is named. (Ephesians iii, 15) The obedience of the children imitates that of the Divine Child of Nazareth, and the whole family life is inspired by the sacred ideals of the Holy Family. Finally, Jesus Christ reigns over society when men recognize and reverence the sovereignty of Christ, when they accept the divine origin and control over all social forces, a recognition which is the basis of the right to command for those in authority and of the duty to obey for those who are subjects, a duty which cannot but ennoble all who live up to its demands. Christ reigns where the position in society which He Himself has assigned to His Church is recognized, for He bestowed on the Church the status and the constitution of a society which, by reason of the perfect ends which it is called upon to attain, must be held to be supreme in its own sphere; He also made her the depository and interpreter of His divine teachings, and, by consequence, the teacher and guide of every other society whatsoever, not of course in the sense that she should abstract in the least from their authority, each in its own sphere supreme, but that she should really perfect their authority, just as divine grace perfects human nature, and should give to them the assistance necessary for men to attain their true final end, eternal happiness, and by that very fact make them the more deserving and certain promoters of their happiness here below.

It is, therefore, a fact which cannot be questioned that the true peace of Christ can only exist in the Kingdom of Christ -- "the peace of Christ in the Kingdom of Christ." It is no less unquestionable that, in doing all we can to bring about the re-establishment of Christ's kingdom, we will be working most effectively toward a lasting world peace. (Pope Pius XI, Ubi Arcano Dei Consilio , December 23, 1922)

Does anyone contend with a straight face that Benedict XVI believes in a word of this, that Catholicism is the only answer for the world, that there are no "Christian churches" outside of the Catholic Church, that false religions cannot "contribute" to the better society? Yes, the scions of Modernism have enabled the vapid sons of Modernity and thus made it more possible for grandiose schemes of social engineering, whether by the increase of the power and the size of national governments at home or by the use of modern warfare waged without regard to the laws of God abroad, to be triumphant in this mortal vale of tears.

The triumph of the blood letters is only temporary, however. May we pray for the day when more and more soldiers of this world will follow the example of yesterday's saint, Ignatius of Loyola, and lay down their swords at the feet of Our Lady to serve her Divine Son as his champions in the Heavenly City that sits atop Mount Zion, the Catholic Church.

Traditional Orthodox Jurisdictions

While the answer and question above is not sufficient for some to understand, we take the view (which we believe is ORTHODOX) that all things pertinent to life and living affects, and has an effect, upon not just our belief (Orthodox), but (for many) the way in which we act in accordance with our belief, our very faith. 

Because this is a highly Protestant Country in which we live, having an effect upon the laws of the land, we should know something of what is on-going and where efforts by those denominations may affect and have a intrinsic effect on our very laws, for such does have an effect upon our daily lives as Orthodox Catholic Christians. 

If one is not cognizant of the real events happening both locally and in the world, although many are removed from the world... one will not know what to expect or what to do, or how one can or cannot act which might betray one's faith and accrue the wrath of civil authorities as laws change.  Yet, we are also reminded that these things must happen and it was for that which there exists many early Christian Martyrs and Saints. 

While we can remove ourselves from the world, we still live in it.  And for the faithful, theirs is a struggle for knowledge and understanding.  All things are pertinent to the Orthodox Catholic Christian Faith which is the very foundation of Christianity.  As such, we can not abandon them and leave them blind to events and happenings. 

What we post as related to those things similar to various articles which might have a political theme or non-Orthodox Catholic Christian content of sorts ... does not mean or imply that we are supportive of, for, or against something articulated in an article, so much as it is NEWS and our faithful should be made aware, for such may be the very thing that will impact their day-to-day life.  It is for them, their free will... to judge the relevancy.

Remember, not all Protestants, especially hard core cultic groups such as "Charismatic" - "Evangelical" "Promise Keepers" "Church of Christ" "Methodism" "Pentecostals" "Jehovah's Witnesses" "Mormons" and other people are not so generous in their viciousness toward anyone and anything that appears "Catholic" whether of the Roman or Orthodox jurisdictions, for they do not know or want to learn that which makes them "different" in their walk and talk as being far from the roots of Christianity. 

Remember, it is the Roman jurisdiction of the Catholic Church which has more outwardly shown that it can be one of the most vicious toward those who are not Roman but are very much "Catholic" - for the sun and moon does not rise and set on the Vatican (Latin or Roman) jurisdiction as to who is or is not "Catholic" for the Roman jurisdiction split (schismed) from the roots of "Catholicism" which is founded in what is termed and called today as "Orthodoxy".
