This summer, while you are putting burgers on the grill … while your kids are jumping on the trampoline … while you are relaxing in your backyard pool … while you are enjoying a camping trip … or sitting outside at a café, having lunch … the eyes of the U.S. government will be upon you.
The FUNDAMENTAL TRANSFORMATION Barack Obama promised when he ran for President four years ago is now underway. He is systematically dismantling our Bill of Rights, specifically our First and Fourth Amendment freedoms.
Look out your window right now – do you see a “drone” flying overhead? Chances are, you soon will; because Obama signed the “FAA Modernization and Reform Act of 2012″ into law on February 14 and opened up the skies for a broad expansion of drones.
These remote-controlled Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV’s), will fly at altitudes under 400 feet. Technological advances are rapidly enabling them to cover broader areas, collect various kinds of data, and even to be used as a weapon.
Plus, they are becoming very cheap to build and operate. So, you can count on them becoming very prevalent in the lives of U.S. citizens.
“Until they become conscious they will never rebel, and until after they have rebelled they cannot become conscious.” – George Orwell, 1984, Chapter 7

Additionally, the Air Force has just announced that THEY CAN KEEP ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION THEY COLLECT FOR 90 DAYS — and they can review that information to make sure you are not a terrorist threat.
They say, “Collected imagery may incidentally include US persons or private property without consent.”
They will then analyze their tapes, to see if “persons or organizations reasonably believed to be engaged or about to engage, in international terrorist or international narcotics activities.”
Former Judge Andrew Napolitano, senior judicial analyst at the Fox News Channel says,
“The feds predict that they will dispatch or authorize about 30,000 of these unmanned aerial vehicles across America in the next 10 years.” He asked, ‘If the drone operator sees you doing anything of interest (Is your fertilizer for the roses or to fuel a bomb? Is that Sudafed for your cold or your meth habit? Are you smoking in front of your kids?), the feds say they may take a picture of you and keep it.’”

It is estimated that by the year 2020, there could be 30,000 of these drones in the sky – operated by police, the military, and corporations.
They won’t just carry cameras to monitor your activities–these drones can carry weapons, too, as well as equipment capable of intercepting electronic communications and cellphone calls.
It is just being reported that Apple and Google have deployed military-grade spy planes over U.S. cities, to “gather information.”
What information will they gather? What will they do with it? Obama is very chummy with the entire Google organization, and even has former employees on his staff. Will Google gather data and conveniently provide this to the government?
The rapid decrease of our Fourth Amendment rights has prompted Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) to introduce S. 3287, the “Preserving Freedom from Unwarranted Surveillance Act.”
Paul says, “Americans going about their everyday lives should not be treated like criminals or terrorists and have their rights infringed upon by military tactics.”
His bill will allow Americans to sue the government for spying on them without a warrant and violating the act, and it will prohibit evidence collected with warrantless drone surveillance from being used as evidence in court.
Obama has shown a disdain for freedom and the Constitution. Every move he makes seems to be toward a government-controlled, emergency police state.
Our Fourth Amendment was written to protect us from police excess and police mistakes. In America’s growing police state, officers BECOME THE LAW, and our Constitutional rights cease to exist.
Fourth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution
“The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.”
Our country is headed towards becoming one large surveillance area…we must act now. We cannot and WILL NOT allow the majority of our elected representatives to look the other way while the government tramples on our Fourth Amendment protections. The government’s encroachment of our rights will continue as long as we fail to act!
Jacob Sullum, a senior editor at Los Angeles-based Reason calls this “very intrusive surveillance without court supervision.”
Send your outrage to Congress right now and save our Constitutional freedoms!
