HELP WANTED, Locally, Nationally & Internationally!
The original of the following message was posted on our new NEWS LETTER momentarily entitled "VINE & CROSSROADS OF FAITH". We have modified the information a bit so that it is more inclusive of our reasons for Why that name?
This Newsletter is about the truth: the truth of which was prophesied 5,000 years ago, the truth of the one world religion, the joining of all the world's religions offering compromises to each other until their is complete agreement between them and the world faces the One World Religion which ushers in the Anti-Christ, he will run the world as the Savior and there will be no tolerance for anyone or anything that veers to the right or to the left, he will heal all people, eliminate disease, end all wars.
The world will believe that the Christ has arrived, even those who claim to love Jesus Christ will be deceived, only a few remnants will remain faithful to the TRUE CHRIST. So, do not be alarmed by the attacks on false doctrines and false theologies that you read here, it is for your benefit, the benefit of your eternal life with the TRUE CHRIST, we are not against any one person, no, the love of Christ in us has taught us to love the human soul, created by God to live eternally. We attack false doctrines and false theologies so that you the reader may know the truth and become one of the few that shall remain true to the Christ that was crucified for your soul, who shed His blood so that you may have eternal life.
Therefore the name, "Vine & Crossroads of Faith" is because our faith is the ground, root and base of all things CHRISTIAN, known and called by many nationalistic names which is, when taken as a whole, ORTHODOX, CATHOLIC AND CHRISTIAN and is not a DENOMINATION but the RELIGION initially established by Jesus Christ, His Holy Apostles and Patristic Fathers of which adherence to the ancient Holy Spirit inspired SEVEN ECUMENICAL COUNCILS is a sign of the true church... and from which the Roman Jurisdiction of the Catholic Church and her children of Protestantism have schismed (separated from - officially beginning with the Latin (Roman) Church in 1054 A.D. and since having further departed from all things CHRISTIAN) - - - we, in these times are being inundated by errant theologies, doctrines and dogmas never before sanctioned or accepted and to which some ORTHODOX are siding or snuggling up to the Roman Jurisdiction of the Catholic Church ... a move, by action, as exampled by the Patriarch of Constantinople's recent actions... for needs unbecoming the Faith... Thus, the name, "Vine & Crossroads of Faith" is endemic to the problem and issues of these present times as was prophesied by not only Holy Scripture, but by countless number of saints including St. John Maximovitch of Shanghai & San Francisco as well as by his spiritual son, Father Seraphim Rose of reposed memory who should be canonized a Saint as his own writings poignantly shows forth...
The VINE & CROSSROADS OF FAITH NEWSLETTER, a temporary name, is one that explicitly depicts the avenue we are cautiously walking unless we are more cautious and careful in these present times. Many there are who are members and clergy of the Roman Jurisdiction of the Catholic Church, and those who are copy-cat Romans, along with some who use the very nomenclature of ORTHODOX in their names, but are neither Orthodox and only "Catholic" by appearance.
If ones faith in word, thought and action is anything different, even if they consider themselves even similar in action, as CATHOLIC in the sense of being Romanistic.... or Latin... they are committing spiritual fraud on countless numbers of clergy and people alike... more especially is this true if they rely on the mainline Roman Jurisdiction and its Pope Benedict XVI as a friend and source for legitimacy... even more so they are not true to what it means to be ORTHODOX or even CATHOLIC! Sorry if this is offensive to some, but truth cannot and must not be denied... Often times the arrogance and elitism of clergy is a tale-telling clue, a sure give-away of some of the clergy... And, as for others, it is the copy-cat mentality that gives them away as not being either Orthodox or Catholic. A true Orthodox Catholic Christian is always searching, even if he be a clergyman... why?
True Orthodox Catholic Christian clergy will always question because they are also on the spiritual path or road to clean their own stained souls for the life to come. They want to reach out to help all people, both others of the true faith and those not of the true faith... not necessarily by preaching, but by doing good works in aiding those people to better their lives not in a quantitative form but in quality! What is that Quality?
Quality of life somewhat means, but is not limited to being free from the incursions of those governmental agencies who make incursions in how one lives, raises children, educates the youth, provides, or lack of providing, proper care and provisions for those who are unable to afford medical insurance, unable to defend themselves because they know the so-called "Public Defenders" are another arm (usually, but not always) of the government (City, County, State or Federal), not having enough clothing or food to feed themselves or their families, not having a job or trade sufficient to support themselves (more because our government sold out the people of the USA to NAFTA and worse), the disabled being harassed un-necessarily, the elderly living on limited income who struggle to just survive, and much more... Concern for the these people and others with having just the "basics" and learning to be "happy" without quantity... but a quality that fills the spirit and enjoins them to God through the true Life and Teachings of Jesus Christ. This is but a small part of a true clergyman who struggles out of pain of heart for the faith once and for all delivered... it means that "quality of life" does not include a "salary" for a clergyman or necessarily having the "good things" of this material life but accepting what they have and that which comes by God's hand of blessing... giving thanks and praying with absolute sincerity in one's heart. These, as said, are but a few things that is the hallmark of a true Clergyman... He will go out of his way not to proselytize or preach to you... but is hopeful that he can help you when you are faced with some difficult problem or issue that money cannot necessarily buy!
Our goal then, is to provide viewers with such that overshadows any reasonable doubt to those facts of both spiritual and material truth!
While we are not against people in and of themselves as individuals, we are against heretical theologies, doctrines and dogmas that go against all things established in the root, ground and base of CHRISTIANITY itself which, as said, was established in those nationalistically named Orthodox Churches such as Greek Orthodox, Ukrainian Orthodox, Russian Orthodox, American Orthodox, etc.
The Vine & Crossroads of Faith Newsletter is a new endeavor which will be sent out through e-mail for those who we hope will be receptive to our endeavors to bring you information & news concerning not only our Orthodox Catholic Christian Faith, but concerning all that may have to do with your Religious, Civil and Legal Rights to worship and daily practice your faith. To live, breathe unfettered by those things that often hamper one's ability to maintain a quality of life befitting a true thankful Christian.
Some who may be affected by what is happening in the USA, North, and South America as well as around the world are more than just faithful parishioners, but clergy too! This is for them as well, even if they are not part of our Jurisdiction or even our faith!
We feel that when informed, you can make better decisions toward maintaining your rights of religious bearing as well as, hopefully, your civil rights too. Such is a part of the quality of life, not quantity! Yet, depending on the country in which you reside, even if it be a State or Province of that country; you may find you will eventually be limited from worshiping and speaking about your faith openly! Your quality of life will be lessened because you may have showed (the government and those involved in the One World Church) that you do not like the un-Christian ways of those people who continually and constantly impact your life or the life of those whom you care about and hold near and dear to you!
So, this struggle that we present as our first newsletter is one out of pain of heart for the faith once and for all delivered by Jesus Christ, the Holy Apostles and Patristic Fathers.
The newsletter itself is not complete. This means our design and layout is not fully agreed upon as being the right one we want to present because there are other designs and layouts that may provide a better idea of who and what we are and what we are attempting to do for the needs of everyone possible, including the manner and way of presenting the information that might, could or would be more eye-catching so that the article itself is a, "I've got to read that"... So, everything about the newsletter is actually temporary... as the one presented for the November 1, 2008 issue is our very first one...
Inasmuch the American Orthodox Church and the North American Orthodox Church is just one Jurisdiction of world wide Orthodox Catholic Christianity established by Jesus Christ; we believe that since our dioceses and parishes are scattered through out North, Central and South America; you need to know what is going on locally, nationally and world-wide because you may be affected by the New World Order which is causing for the ancient Church to be re-invented in such a way to dictate false, heretical, synchrestic ecumenical ways more promoted by the World Council of Churches, Council of Bishops, and other groups who are in dialogue with the Roman Jurisdiction of the Catholic Church and/or the World Council of Churches and other Council of Bishops related to the Roman Jurisdiction... whose memberships are vast and appalling in reshaping Christianity away from its ground, root and base which is in Orthodox Catholic Christianity itself..
Our Vladyka +Thaddeus (Metropolitan Archbishop) has granted us permission to provide this endeavor for you to review and comment on with hopes that you will join with us in providing current information and news... It is therefore our hope that you might fit one of the following ....Volunteers Sought - - - - Help Wanted!
Queue editors: We need more help in the queue. That's where articles go when writers submit them. Volunteer editors evaluate, edit, clean up and accept or reject articles.
Transcribers: we need help transcribing recordings of interviews done on radio shows and otherwise. We have a team effort on-going and you take a share in a recording's transcription.
Subject/Area Editors: are you passionate about an area? Volunteer as an editor and help find articles to post, writer to recruit to cover the area. Sometimes those areas of interest may be more than by subject but by geographical area where very few know of the conditions and the kind of "reshaping" on-going both by government and churches to the detriment of the people in that area.
Article assignment writers: passionate about an area? Volunteer to accept assignments on specific areas.
Graphic artist: help us with art, layout, design for the site.
Website developer/programmer: give use counsel, feedback advice on old and new features and functions of the site at http://www.apostle1.com and other websites we maintain.
YOU are the most valuable and important aspect of this newsletter. We may need to redesign the newsletter as we explore how we can present our viewers, faithful parishioners, and clergy with the information and news so necessary to stay up-to-date.
Each issue will be centered on a theme which will alternate from issue to issue so that all themes are represented. Example of suggested "themes" include: Earth's environment, hot spots around the world (news from various regions), Computer Guru for those home bound and the elderly, Health & Well Being (reflecting on current trends in areas of health), Politics & Economics (impacting one's religious faith), and much more...
Included in our newsletters will be information taken from our Western Orthodox Theological Institute (WOTI) and other areas to aide and reaffirm your spiritual and material understandings.
Life itself is a religious experience whether or not you go to church on Sunday or stay at home... even if you do not believe in the root, ground and base of all things CHRISTIAN (follower of Jesus Christ) which is established in Orthodox Catholic Christianity itself ... you may find an article, item or particular information important or interesting to your own area of life and living.

Even political events and issues along with economic issues or problems affecting your area are of concern because like a pebble in a pond, the ripples spread outward and eventually may affect everyone... including YOU!
Those are just some of the areas we will consider for coverage... But that doesn't end there... There's more to come! You may have an idea for an area to be covered... So, subscribe! And offer an electronic copy to your friends by forwarding them a copy too...
