Our Church Links page is created with a specific goal in mind.
Faithful and clergy of many jurisdictions of the Orthodox Catholic Faith have often argued, vehemently so, over the centuries about who is or is not more "Orthodox" or "Catholic" than the next one. Even fundamentalists take great pleasure in seeing these childish antics amongst the Orthodox and Catholics who fight as though they are yesterday's step-children who cannot make up their minds about many issues and understandings, except for the basics of what forms our Orthodox Catholic heritage. More often than not, much of this character assassination of personages, prelates, clergy and jurisdictions¹ is a 'hang-over' from that which has became known as the 'ethnic' and so-called 'traditional' or 'old calendar' and 'new calendar' Churches.
In the various Protestant cults, it is not common for any one of them to argue so openly as do the Orthodox and Catholics.
It is our endeavor to provide pious viewers with a chance to see what others have to say about faith, saints, life and teachings of Jesus Christ, and to make comparisons for themselves since each individual has, at birth, the God-given gift FREE WILL.
The goal? That the faithful of each of those jurisdictions or churches will encourage their hierarchy to take a more stronger control of those who are their members who have been making postings in the name of their jurisdictions (Churches) to change that which is on-going. If we are Orthodox, and the heresy of Synchrestic Ecumenism is slowly erroding our churches, the very fabric of our faith... it is nothing more than what has been alluded to in various patristic writings of the Holy Fathers and actually, on further examination, alluded to in the very prophecies. While not a one of us, individually or collectively can change that which is happening which will eventually lead to only a remnant faithful in the not-to-distant-future... we can surely take some action to avoid the very thing that the Life and Teachings of Jesus Christ would have us avoid. Far to many jurisdictions (Churches) of the Orthodox & Catholic Faith have been doing that which some feel should not be done and not doing that which should be done.
Our goal, therefore, is filled with hope that those who are faithful, will not become those who leave their various Orthodox & Catholic Churches with complete disgust over the how clergy act with such "Correctness Disease" approach to many of the issues that plague the Church altogether. The growth of the various Protestant cults can be laid at the doorsteps of the Orthodox & Catholic Church herself. The Church was not meant to be so strictured as a noose around the necks of the faithful. Yet, while this is said with remembrance of what Christ has said to the Pharisees concerning their having placed a 'yoke' on the necks of the people... all of us could certainly learn from that lesson with a more deep concern for the times in which we live. Struggle in this life for the life to come is most assuredly within the structure of the Church in aiding the faithful as regards understandings of the Life and Teachings of Jesus Christ, the Apostles and patristic fathers. Yet, in so doing, taking into consideration the present day psychology of people who opt for a lazidazical (lax and lazy) way of living ... we do not bend to the will of the Evil one who promotes such laziness through technologies and entertainments, but renew our vigor to bring spiritual truth to the masses for it is ultimately their decision as to their salvation or damnation. Know that struggle in this life is a requirement if we are to obtain a full life in Christ, Jesus, in the next regardless of what any other jurisdiction or Church has to say as a means to gain new members for economic or political reasons. Some of the links we provide or jurisdictions or churches of the Orthodox, Catholic and some heretical churches who fit the desccriptions we warn against, to avoid.
Yet, so no one can say that we do not provide or reflect and understanding of spiritual truth... we go one step further and provide additional links, even to some of those who are factually committing heresy. If you are a true struggler in the faith once delivered, your understandings will single out for yourself the ones who fit the picture against those who avoid making the church a political and economic endeavor...
Therefore the offered links to other jurisdictions below.... Once
you click on any one of the links, you will be taken away from this web
site and will have to reinter the URL address of http://www.apostle1.com
