Responses to Review and Overview

The following are some of the responses coming in as regards the "Review of the Oratory Catechism and Overview of Sedevacantism in General".

May 25, 2006

Dear Eminence;

In response to the Review and Overview "Oratory Catechism," I must say that I whole heartedly agree with what has been written. I also must add that trying to bring the Roman Jurisdiction, of the Catholic Church, back to pre-Vatican II days is just about impossible, and even if they did it still would not be truly Catholic due to the “innovations” that the Roman Jurisdiction brought into their teachings. But, beyond that, it is rather like the old saying; “Once they have seen the city, it hard to get them back on the farm.”

Perhaps if something could have been accomplished in a big way by Archbishops Lefebvre and Ngo Dinh Thuc (Paul Martin), there may have been some hope in saving the Roman Church and bring it back into line with the Church of the East. Under the present conditions, the Sedevacantist groups are doing too little too late.

Just this morning I was listening to Roman Catholic radio station (which I happened to come across by accident) and they were saying that there are at least two or three groups, headed by women, who are paying liberal Roman Catholic bishops to ordain them to the priesthood because the women say: “We are tired of waiting for Rome to change its stand on women in the priesthood, so we are taking matters into our own hands as “devout” Catholics. We don’t care what Rome says, we will continue doing what we are doing.”  On this radio program, it was also stated that many of the women being “ordained” are lesbians, but some are also married with husbands and children.  These women also went on to state that they will officiate at wedding ceremonies and they will urge priests to defy their vows of celibacy and get married and still maintain their priestly duties.

So as you can see, much harm is still being done to the Body of Christ and the “Great Apostasy” is alive and well. If any of the Orthodox Patriarchates should decide to enter into full reunion with Rome, it will be left to us, who believe in TRUE Orthodoxy, to stand firm in the faith and fight against this ‘abomination’ and ‘blasphemy’ to the END, no matter what the cost. All of this is in God’s plans and we each must do our part as the “Whore of Babylon” acts out her role.

Kissing your right hand Eminence, I have reviewed the article and the various pages.  I know some clergy of the various Sedevacantist movement and can only say that while I am friends with many of them from various groups, they only accentuate the problems that has led up to these present times.  They are pre-Vatican II clergy in their faith and are very good people as clergy and nuns.  Your particular article did indeed hit the nail on the head about why they are both good and bad.  Even if the Roman church (I say with little "c" because the present church has gone awry as the Sedevacantists have correctly stated) were to return to pre-Vatican II days, they would not resolve the problem of the infection of diseases you also pointed out, in part, for there are many other diseases involved in that church as well as in some of the Orthodox Jurisdictions more now than ever.

Until the Sedevacantists themselves return to the path, the faith and belief that the Roman Church brought about before their schism in 1054 A.D., they will accomplish little as regards the faith although they do good in their work with the clergy and faithful to keep them from the "New Church" or "Conciliar Church" of these times.

As a former Roman priest, I do wish to join the Sedevacantists although I understand why they are what they are.   Again, though, they are still arrogant, sometimes bombastic, full of pride, conceit and bend history to their own whims as the Roman church did before and after Vatican II.

Dear Eminence,

Your blessings.  What can I say but what, as a former nun of the RC's... I read your article with stark amazement that someone finally got it right!  I was a convert from Orthodoxy and became an RC nun in the later 40's.

When Vatican II came about and many of us saw what was going on and how it 'trashed' us who have been faithful nuns... many of us returned to secular life.

I had the chance to remain a nun by going to the Archbishops Lefebvre and Ngo Dinh Thuc (Paul Martin)Archbishops Lefebvre or Ngo Dinh Thuc (Paul Martin) and other Sedevacantist groups.  But, having originally come from an Orthodox Catholic background, I could no longer join with those who I knew were in error much the same as those I had left.

The articles and information regarding "Apostasy" I believe are necessary and true.  I hope whoever submits them to you, continues!  The people need to be awakened.  May I suggest people should get as much information as possible about the writings by Father Seraphim Rose for there is much, much more that could be learned about what to expect and what to avoid.  They don't have the original book when it was first published, "Not of this World".  It has been re-released, brushed up and sanitized, which was a shame... Politics!  But, even it still has truth.  Father Seraphim Rose, no longer in this life, there was such as "Religion of the Future" and many other writings... Get them!

Thank you for bringing truth to a society that believes a lie as truth and truth as lie.

Sharon G. (a former RC nun)

Also Know that:

We, at do cause for "Point" and "Counterpoint" discussions at our web site.  This is sometimes the same way in which authors and writers do in order to bring about both sides or arguments in discussions or about some issues affecting the Church as a whole.  Abbot +Gregori and our Metropolitan Archbishop do this from time to time.  Many have a limited understanding of what celibacy means and we can only ask: What part of CELIBACY does one not understand?

However, it has come to our attention that un-named individual(s) think it wise and not harmful to start attacking by taking copyrighted materials to use in their own web site without permission, per se: as for an example, the subjects pertaining to "Homosexuals" and "Homosexuality in the Church," etc. for the purpose of advancing their own causes to start their attacking of other(s) which is not bound in and with the Church, but with a personal agenda of self-image because of anger, hate, fear and worse.  They are Roman in attitude and practice, but not Orthodox, although calling themselves "Orthodox" even "Celtic".

It is understood, according to information and belief, that three of his/her/their websites may have been closed by former service providers due to complaints against him/them for internet terrorism, spewing "hate" and causing for an individual whom he/they discuss, to be exposed to potential physical harm which happened in the early part of the 2005 when they thought themselves wise in their own conceit, for things of more than 13 years in the past.  What part of "Hate" - "Exposing another to threats of losing life" - "Internet Terrorism" does he/they not understand? Now, under other domain names, the same/similar hate messages re-occur against the same individual.

We have been advised by over 32 different jurisdictions that the indivdual(s) doing the 'hate-mongering' are, in fact and truth un-orthodox and un-Christian because they continue to argue things of the past that is not a part of the Life and Teachings of Jesus Christ, and (in fact) go against the very commandments of Jesus Christ!  And those who do such are, it is opined upon investigation and in most instances, the very one(s) who had been or are under ban as excommunicated individuals posing as duly ordained clergy who had been a part of this jurisdiction (and several others) in times past.

Any good article or piece of information will be considered so long as it is not defamatory or slanderous toward an individual when not based on TRUTH or FACT, or which is altered out of context from its original publishing by recognized sources.

Yes, our Metropolitan Archbishop, +Joseph Thaddeus, SSJt., Ph.D. strongly defends the Seals of the Confessional for such leads to true Repentance in thought, word and deed whereby the penitent is required to make amends, where possible, to seek forgiveness of those harmed by his actions whether real or imagined, and to give his forgiveness to those who have harmed him before taking the Holy Body and Blood in the Eucharist, Jesus the Christ.  The reality of this understanding is bound up in and with the findings for which cause he, himself, had been character assassinated by his detractors who claim the courts prevented him from breaking the Seals of the Confessional which is not the truth at all.... Click here to see what another bishop's findings are...

The workings of Holy Spirit will not be daunted by those who attempt to cause disruption!  It is for these and other reasons that you are urged to read what true repentance and forgiveness means for real "Christians".

"It would be better to have ten (10) true repentant X-felons who ask for and give true forgiveness than it would be to have one (1) non-x-felon or common person whose self-righteousness exceeds even the Pharisees, Sadducees, the gossip mongers, slanderers and un-repentant; for the repentant x-felon understands the true meaning of the Church's purpose as being the spiritual hospital." Yes... "Prejudice Makes Prisoners of the Hated and the Hater..." (1992-Fr. Alan Stanford)

One can ask, "What part of 'Prejudice' and 'hate' do you not understand?  Are you a complacent person?  In light of the saying, examine yourself!  You may be surprised if you are honest with yourself for your soul may convict you before Jesus Christ convicts you in the times to come!

"When tested by some trial you should try to find out not why or through whom it came, but only how to endure it gratefully, without distress or rancor."

St. Mark the Ascetic.
