A Message from the Metropolitan Archbishop of the Archdiocese:
You are blessed and a blessing and we thank you for visiting the Web Pages of the Archdiocese of New Mexico.
An endeavor has begun to train and teach those who wish to come to ordination as Deacons and Presbyters (Priests).
There are many today who believe and think in error that it is easy to become a Deacon or Priest in the Catholic Church... and remember, we are very Catholic... in fact, we come from a long line of apostolic successors who are themselves "Apostles" if they endeavor, according to their nature and degree of ability, to maintain their faith in action according to the ancient Church which is the ground and base of all things "Catholic". The Sun and Moon does not rise and set on on the Roman Jurisdiction as to who is or is not CATHOLIC for indeed, with developments having become what they are, the Vatican (Rome) is, according to many, no longer the CATHOLIC Church as she was once held to be because of her false and heretical teachings that not only initially caused for her to Schism (Separate) from the Orthodox Catholic Christian Church, but has gone further afield to encompass inter-faith groups with open arms. This was never accepted by the ancient Church and is deplored by the original Seven Ecumenical Councils of ancient times.
It is for that reason we say:
Synchrestic Ecumenism, Inter-faith are all heretical to the true Church! They are the seeds of the Evil One, the Great Deceiver himself, Lucifer known as Satan, the angel of deception... and those who knowingly and unknowingly abide by them are falling into the chasm.
Therefore our training and teachings are from the Church that has been and continually is preserved in how men and women may enter the clergy ranks.
About the time of November, we shall be accepting applications for those who may wish to enter studies to become a deacon or priest in the vineyard of Jesus Christ. You may inquire by writing the DIOCESE OF THE SOUTHWEST and address your inquiries as follows:
