Rev. Father Deacon Christopher Herman News (DCHN) Presentations:

For March 02, 2012 - Friday

Apostle1.com's note, opinion and commentary:

We thank Rev. Father Deacon Christopher Herman, the son of our former spiritual father, Vladyka Michael Peter Herman of reposed memory for providing us the articles and their various links.

We believe that what is presented is a step in the right direction to bring our Orthodox Faith alive to all and a means to cure some of the ills that separate our Roman faithful from the root, ground and base of all things Christian: being Orthodox Catholic Christianity that began in the A.D. 800's and culminated in the official schism of the Roman Jurisdiction of the Catholic Church from Orthodoxy in 1054 A.D.

By presenting these articles and informational pages and subsequent, hoped for, weekly presentations, this endeavor will reach a wider audience and provide a means for dialogue.  For it is in and through the Life and Teachings of Jesus Christ, our Savior, that love, compassion and understanding may come about.  In saying this truth, it also means that we make another attempt to fulfill the ideal of why we are called "Christian" ...

Orthodoxy is not a religion.  It is CHRISTIANITY itself! To a true Christian, the events taking place through out the world and locally in the USA today is important because of how it may (and in some instances has) affected our religious rights and freedoms here in the U.S.A and in some other Western World Countries already.

Initially we had begun by "Subject" but found that by "DATE" is a better format.  Thus, the former entitled "Concerning" below are a form of archival resources while the remainder is by dating.

Please note that when you click on an article, you will be taken away from this web site and you will need to click on your "back button" or "Return Button" (sometimes an arrow signifying 'back' ...)

As Thou, Father, art in me and I in Thee; that they also may be one in Us. (John 17:21)

"Fewer people know of Planned Parenthood's socialist connections. Sanger's husband, William, was connected to radical politics and attended socialist, anarchist, and communist meetings4. Sanger later joined the Socialist Party and was influenced by Emma Goldman, an anarchist. John Reed, a socialist, was also part of her circle. He visited Russia during the war, and wrote: "Russian ideals are the most exhilarating, thought the freest[.] ... Everyone acts just as he feels like acting, and says what he wants to"5. George Bernard Shaw, a socialist and one of the left's showpieces, was enthusiastic about Sanger's plans6, and he wrote in Birth Control Review: "We are up against an overpopulation problem created by Capitalism[.] ... Socialists say quite truly that Socialism can get rid of it. But it cannot wait for Socialism[.]" Later, Sanger became a "community organizer" for the IWW strike in Lawrence Mass. -- she was committed to the revolution7."

"When Sweden enacted a financial transaction tax in 1983, the country experienced huge capital flight.
As a study from the Adam Smith Institute shows:
Almost 60% of trading volume of the 11 most actively traded Swedish shares migrated to London during Sweden's attempted Tobin tax. The temptation, and indeed relative ease, with which capital flight and cross border arbitrage can occur would spell disaster for the UK.
Sweden is the only country to have tried a "pure" Tobin tax, of 0.5%. It raised only one thirtieth of the proceeds predicted by its proponents and was scrapped after five years. The taxes sparked an exodus of financial activity from Sweden. By 1990 60% of the trading volume for the top 11 most traded Swedish stocks had moved to London. Trading for over 50% of Swedish equities had moved to London by 1990.
Worse yet, the Tobin tax makes it more expensive for traders to provide much-needed liquidity in light of a downturn or financial shock:
All market participants would be subject to the tax; a Tobin tax is unable to discriminate between de-stabilising trades and those which provide liquidity, information and tradefinancing. With short-term trading providing invaluable liquidity to the market, an incapability to segregate individual trader motivations will therefore lead to a reduction in both liquidity and welfare-enhancing trade, in addition to increasing market susceptibility to individual shocks."

"How mistaken liberals are, especially when it comes to energy independence.
First of all, the export of energy products such as refined fuel, kerosene, and lubricating oils bears no relation to the importation of oil, which still proceeds at 9 million barrels per day. If anything, the two figures operate inversely: the more refined products we export, the more unrefined oil we must import as feedstock for our refineries.
In reality, the U.S. still imports 51% of its oil despite the existence of vast undeveloped reserves to be found offshore and onshore. The fact that America imports 51% of its oil, at huge cost and from unfriendly regimes including Venezuela, is hardly an argument to halt drilling."

"For a moderately growing economy, which the US model is now forecasting, the election is predicted to be close. The current US model forecast is probably somewhat more optimistic than consensus, but with slightly slower growth in 2012, the election would still be predicted to be close. If the economy suddenly starts to boom -- say 5 or 6 percent growth -- Obama would be predicted to win by a comfortable amount. If the economy suddenly goes into another recession -- say minus 5 or 6 percent growth -- the Republicans would be predicted to win by a comfortable amount. As of this writing the economy in 2012 looks like it will be ok, but not great, which means a close election -- essentially too close to call. If the economy does turn out to be ok, but not great, and if the election is close, the voting equation will have done well. If instead in this case the election is not close, the equation will have made a large error."

"They have not said that marriage is the union between any two people. If they did, they'd render themselves just as "exclusionary" and "discriminatory" as those they decry and relinquish a hammer with which they bludgeon tradition. They have not offered any alternative parameters for marriage. They've simply implied that the correct definition -- the one accepted for millennia in Western civilization -- is wrong.
Yet if these leftists cannot say what marriage is, how can they be so sure about what it isn't? If they cannot offer a definition they're certain is right, how can they be so confident that the right definition is wrong?
But the point is this: the court obviously doesn't accept the definition of marriage embraced by most people worldwide today. If it did, it would have ruled as indicated earlier. Yet there also is no noted alternative definition by which to go. Thus, it seems that before the judges could rule on the right to this thing called marriage, they'd have to rule on what this thing is in the first place. So have they ruled that there is a right to they-know-not-what."

"During the height of the Cold War in the 1960s, ORNL developed a Thorium-Based MSR, or Molten Salt Reactor. This remarkable new-age nuclear technology dispels every environmentalist fear used to denigrate a true American innovation. The Oak Ridge MSRE (Molten Salt Reactor Experiment), developed as a means to power aircraft due to its compact size and the relative safety of molten salt fuel, was successfully operational from 1965 to 1969. However, a nuclear reactor that is unable to produce bomb-grade material made this technology unattractive in a Cold War world.
The Oak Ridge MSRE was decommissioned in December 1969 by simply being turned off. The thermal safety plug made of ice melted, allowing gravity to drain the molten salt fuel into a containment tank. No meltdown occurred like at Fukushima. No concrete sarcophagus was required like at Chernobyl. No damaged reactor taken offline like on Three Mile Island. Twenty-five years later, the nuclear salt was readily processed and shipped with minimal risk to a storage facility, where it will be inert and totally safe in about two hundred years.
Now, in 2012, MSRs have so much more to offer! MSRs produce energy by adding Uranium-235 to thorium fluoride salts. The United States has large deposits of thorium -- enough material to power our electricity needs for thousands of years."

"Many adolescent males will wholeheartedly affirm a connection between the availability of contraception and sexual activity, and scientific data supports the link. Studies have shown that contraception increases sexual activity -- i.e., that more contraception means more sex.
One study, based on Centers for Disease Control data, established clear links between birth control and increases in sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). STD increases are a very reliable indicator of increased sexual activity and show that contraception is wrongly perceived as low-cost insurance -- a perception that motivates increased sexual activity.
And more sex means more pregnancies. Why? Because contraception is far from 100% effective, and with mass distribution of contraception comes a commensurate increase in sexual activity. More pregnancies will result because contraception fails in predictable percentages.
It is noteworthy that failure rates are highest in Planned Parenthood's customer base:
Failures are highest among cohabitating and other unmarried women, among low income, African-American and Hispanic women, among adolescents and women in their 20s. For example, adolescent women who are not married but cohabitating experience a failure rate of about 47% in the first year of contraceptive use."

"In my book, Dupes, I shared the case of Anna Louise Strong. Strong was an editor to the flagship publication of the communist front Friends of the Soviet Union, which masterfully manipulated progressives like Upton Sinclair. We published a photo of Strong and Sinclair together on the "Friends" editorial page, where a stoic Sinclair vows to "expose the lies and slander" against poor old Joe Stalin -- maligned by those mean American anti-communists.
Anna Louise Strong was a loyal American Bolshevik. In a July 1953 report, Congress described her as "one of the most active agents for the Communist International." She did dutiful propaganda work for Moscow, shamelessly arguing that Stalin had "conquered wheat," even publishing a widely read pamphlet by that name, when, in fact, Stalin launched a famine that killed millions.
Among Strong's propaganda work was to enlist Protestant clergy against the Catholic Church. One egregious example was an incendiary letter to the editor Strong placed in the October-November 1941 issue of The Protestant. There, she made the claim that the Vatican was calling for religious freedom in the USSR not because the Soviets were blowing up churches, killing priests, and gulaging nuns, but because the Church was seeking control of Russia. This was ludicrous, but it was just what some anti-Catholic Protestants wanted to hear.
That letter from Strong was so deceptive and such blatant Soviet propaganda that it was highlighted by Congress in a major report on subversive activities by American communists.
Among the communist organs that Anna Louise Strong wrote for was the Chicago Star, known to locals as the "Red Star." The editor-in-chief and co-founder of the Star was Obama's childhood mentor, Frank Marshall Davis, who was a card-carrying member of Communist Party USA.
Davis, too, targeted the Catholic Church. He wrote articles with titles like "The church's weakness," reprimanding Rome, the American bishops, and the Catholic laity for their anti-communism. In an October 1947 piece, Davis growled that "the Catholic hierarchy" had launched a "holy war against communism."
Indeed it had. As communists knew well, the Roman Catholic Church had been issuing scathing indictments of communism since the publication of Marx's Communist Manifesto in 1848 -- yes, that far back -- not to mention in encyclicals by Pope Leo XIII, Pope Pius X, and others. Communists were furious when the Catholic Church issued a brilliant, blistering 1937 encyclical on atheistic communism, titled Divini Redemptoris, which called communism a "satanic scourge."
Committed communists like Frank Marshall Davis thus took on the Catholic Church."

But there is a people who, like the Jews, deserves a homeland and truly can trace their ancestry back thousands of years. "...when Newt Gingrich rightly or wrongly launched his ill-fated attack on Mitt Romney and the activities of Bain Capital, I was stunned at the "He dared to attack Capitalism" response from the Romney defenders. It still seems likely that Romney is going to be the nominee, despite recent gains by Rick Santorum, and since he is a better choice than Obama, I hope we can stop pretending that Capitalism is a worship word and that the whole country will swell with rage if someone is accused of attacking it.
George Soros is a brilliant practitioner of Capitalism, moving the mountains of capital he has amassed freely from country to country and industry to industry, maximizing his return. He could not have crashed currencies such as the British pound or the Russian ruble if they had not been inflated fiat currencies, in other words, a lie. He uses his political influence to enrich industries he has invested in. Nothing in the Capitalist Manual against that. Yet most on our side find his actions reprehensible.
Don't we believe in Capitalism? An attack on George Soros is an attack on Capitalism itself. In the late forties, some capitalistic genius at Rolls Royce sold the Soviet Union the most advanced jet engine on earth, which would later cause many American deaths over Korea. The Loral Space Corporation made good money showing the Chinese how to make missiles that would actually go where they wanted (the continental United States) with nuclear tips.
Is it possible that we don't believe that the sum total of the United States' existence is that of a giant shopping mall where people come to buy and sell their wares? Is it possible that what we believe in is free enterprise and the freedom to succeed or fail tempered by minimal necessary regulation, that it be in the interest of most Americans and most of all conducted by God-fearing people who know there will be a higher judgment for their actions?"

It is a ‘jurisprudential justification” to kill all the Jews and annihilate Israel, and in that, the Islamic government of Iran must take the helm.”

The article, written by Alireza Forghani, a conservative analyst and a strategy specialist in Khamenei’s camp, now is being run on most state-owned conservative sites, including the Revolutionary Guards’ Fars News Agency, showing that the regime endorses this doctrine.

Because Israel is going to attack Iran’s nuclear facilities, Iran is justified in launching a pre-emptive, cataclysmic attack against the Jewish state, the doctrine argues."

The Daily Bell - Does the UN Plan Full-Spectrum Domination?
www.thedailybell.com
The New American has posted an article focusing on the renewed United Nation's "green" push.

Christopher Herman 9:20pm Feb 28
"The text that caught our eye was almost a throwaway, as follows: "Among ... other proposals is the convening of a first-of-its-kind World Humanitarian Summit to help share knowledge and establish common best practices, and the creation of a New UN Partnerships Facility to harness the full power of transformative partnerships across the world body."

The article also mentioned a five-year "New UN Partnership Framework" that has already been implemented in Thailand (see excerpt above) and is now presumably rolling out around the world. Perhaps the Thai program was a kind of "pilot project" as it was announced, at least hypothetically, early last year.

Why Thailand? Probably because it is a deeply authoritarian state in some ways with a massive center of power revolving around the Thai king and his "Royal Thai Government." It doubtless has not been lost on the RTG that authoritarian regimes have been falling right and left recently.

In fact, the UN's Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has been serving as a kind of trigger man for R2P – the horrid "responsibility to protect" that has abrogated the sanctity of nation-states. If Ban decides you are a "bad" dictator as opposed to a good one and that you are putting your citizens "at risk" he can call in the NATO bombs. Then presumably you end up buggered in an unmarked grave the way Muammar Gaddafi did.

And thus, frightened dictators around the world will no doubt fall in line with this latest UN manifesto. It sounds innocent on the surface but those who run the UN – as the EU – have "big" plans. Thailand is doubtless just the beginning."

"Why would Brussels Eurocrats take aim at Spain? Well, this has been the plan all along. We don't think this current "sovereign debt crisis" erupted from nowhere.

It began when the Eurocrats gave out billions so that Southern European countries could "balance their long-term budget deficits" so that they would be eligible to join the EU. From what we can tell, these were basically bribes paid to top elites in each country.

The elites pocketed the money, or distributed to their cronies. They then ensured their countries voted to join the EU and afterward departed from power enriched by many billions. The citizens of each country, having been brow-beaten into joining, are now left to pay the proverbial piper.

Of course, Western banks lent inordinate sums to these countries as well, and we don't think that was any coincidence either. These people are not stupid. The idea that these top European bankers didn't understand that Europe was in a central banking bubble or that much of the money sloshing around Europe came from Brussels is ludicrous.

These banks, in our view, went on the hook on purpose. The idea was to create the current crisis – which in turn would give the Eurocrats the justification to interfere in local affairs, which is just what's happening."

"To mark the anniversary of the arrival of the euro in the form of notes and coins, euronews spoke with Romano Prodi, who in 2002 was President of the European Commission .... Prodi: "Well, the difficult moments were predictable. When we created the euro, my objection, as an economist (and I talked about it with Kohl and with all the heads of government) was: how can we have a common currency without shared financial, economical and political pillars? The wise answer was: for the moment we've made this leap forward. The rest will follow ... Then instead came the Europe of fear: fear of China, fear of immigrants, fear of globalisation. So it was clear that this crisis would arrive. But the euro is so important, it's so convenient for everyone — especially Germany — that I've no doubt that the euro won't just survive, but it will be one of the landmarks for the world economy." – euronews"

"It would also be naïve to believe that the Chinese leadership, having been formed and transformed by Western elites, would have no high-level relationships to it now. That's why this article is believable, or one reason anyway. Here's some more from it:

The Chinese people would revolt against overt foreign domination, but embrace their place in the NWO if they believed they were in control ... the Chinese elite is a merger between the Communist leadership, Hong Kong tycoons, and the criminal Triads. All three factions derive derive their power from Illuminati collaboration. China has appeared autonomous because the Illuminati developed the country internally, funding 'revolutionary' political parties spouting nationalist slogans.

Lord Bertrand Russell revealed this plan in a report on China published in 1920: 'Out of the renaissance spirit now existing in China, it is possible, if foreign nations can be prevented from wreaking havoc, to develop a new civilization better than any that the world has yet known.' The fascist superpower we know today was created in the second half of the 20th century by the bogus Cold War dialectic of communism vs. capitalism.

The stage was set in 1898 when Britain and China signed a contract stipulating that Hong Kong would be handed back to the Chinese in 1997. This meant that the fierce Communism of the mainland and laissez faire capitalism of Hong Kong were always destined to merge. The process of unification gave rise to the current China power elite. What follows is background of the three main factions.

The three elements of leadership, according to the article, are the communist leadership, including Mao who was supposedly a "Soviet agent," the Hong Kong Tycoons (later entrants) and the criminal Triads.

The Hong Kong Tycoons represent Western economic know-how and the Triads provide the muscle that has allowed the Tycoons to thrive within the larger regional environment of the ChiCom-leveling enterprise.

This is slightly different than what we've envisioned, in that we believed that the great Chinese leader-families were indigenous to Mainland China, but it makes a lot of sense. The great Asian families fled to Hong Kong, allied themselves with the Triads and gradually regrouped and took control.

What gained them entrance was ChiCom mismanagement, in my view. The ChiComs ended up with credit for the Great Leap Forward that starved 50 million Chinese as well as for the repression of Tiananmen Square. The only way for the ChiComs to regroup was to implement some form of market capitalism, and this they've done. But that's ending as well, I would think."

"Never, never, never let anyone tell you that, in order to be Orthodox, you must also be eastern. The West was Orthodox for a thousand years, and her venerable liturgy is far older than any of her heresies."

- Blessed St. John Maximovitch of Shanghai and San Francisco

The purpose for presenting this Daily News section:

Daily News is very important to those who are true Orthodox Catholic Christians.  For without knowing or gaining information for understanding about what is happening in one's local area and around the world, you could  find yourself faced with denied services in the secular area, lack of income, even (although it sounds far-fetched) ability to worship openly for the time is not far off when all will have to decide if they wish to follow the Anti-Christ through the One World Church and One World Government as prophesied by the Apocalypse, the Book of Revelation of St. John or follow the faith delivered once and for all which will cause for many to be denied the abilities to survive under those kind of conditions, causing for one to consider other options.

Many of those who subscribe to, and some who have caused or are the cause for, these things to happen are involved in or with the Roman Jurisdiction of the Catholic Church (which is not the seat of all things "Catholic") as well as its protestant daughters such as the cultic Jehovah's Witnesses, the Pentecostal Churches, the Church of Latter Day Saints also known as the Mormon Church and far too many more to list.

Yet, at this web site we do provide some of the reasons about why they are opined to be the harbingers of that which is prophesied in Holy Scripture for the bringing about of the End Times which we have already entered.  It is not necessarily their individual members or parishioners that should be blamed since they are only the "Sheep" and not the Shepherds... So do not think we castigate individual people of themselves as we castigate those "money changers" who Jesus Christ chased out of His Father's House as the Bible Describes; for they exist in these present times too.

Events are already rushing toward that time in which this is beginning to happen and will become more fully wide-spread. In these present times all you need to really do is look around both your local and larger areas as to what is really on-going through.  Things so very little or miniscule that they are barely noticeable except to the more informed observer may become apparent.

Those little things are the laws of the land, economics, politics, the degrading and erosion of those rights and liberties afforded by the Constitution of these United States of America and many other things such as the manner with which entertainments have taken over much of the populace, entering into and becoming a major focus in worship, and more.

We ask you, if you don't want to believe us... Have you heard, seen or found what is termed (of the many terms being used) that there are "holding areas" or "camps" or "Closed/Fenced communities" being built by GOVERNMENT?

Here in North America, especially in the United States of America, we must admit that what Russia has come out of (a communistic, atheist country) we are entering into.  And one last thing that needs also to be understood... Something very important to those of you who are "Catholic" in the Roman sense of its jurisdiction....   And, we believe this also holds true for many who are "Orthodox" whether "Eastern" or "Western"....

[ * Non-Denominational = Synchrestic Ecumenism, Disease of Scholasticism, altering the Life and Teachings of Jesus Christ to accommodate the disease of Political Correctness and CULTIC PROTESTANTISM, and the Roman Jurisdiction (Latin Church = Vatican) of the Catholic Church) breaking of - or failure and refusal to respect and abide by  - the ancient Seven Ecumenical "Do Not" Canons which leaves everything else open to God's gift of creativity... failure & refusal to abide by and have respect for those who diligently protect one of the other Pillars of the Church, the Seals of the Confessional, but "Non-Denominational" also includes worshiping Satan's religion of Muslim, Islam by praying with them and other heretics such as 'Pentecostalism,' 'Jehovah's Witnesses,' 'Mormons,' 'Church of Christ,' any so-called church with "Community Church" in their nomenclature and others who by their false and misleading dogmas and doctrines are actually against the Life and Teachings of Jesus Christ upon whom and for exacting reason we are called "Christian" in both spirit and truth from which non-denominational protestant sectarian claimants have departed from as being so-called Christian] Only a skilled spiritual father can help you!

Remember: You cannot ride two horses or serve two masters for one of them will be harmed by your thoughts, your very words and your actions which is to blaspheme the Holy Ghost (Spirit) who will depart from you.  And when the Holy Spirit departs, the great deceiver (unbeknownst to you) will rush in to fill the void under disguise of being the Holy Spirit!  Testing of the Holy Spirit to insure it is the Holy Spirit does not, for many a Sectarian Protestant and Roman, work because the Great Deceiver (Satan) is most skilled in worming and snaking his charms around your mind and heart to feign being the Holy Spirit.  Remember, Satan has the same gifts similar to the Holy Spirit but Satan's gifts are UN-HOLY and lead all who accept him (unbeknownst to you) to perdition.
