Going, Going, Gone Episcopal Church And A Women’s Eucharist A Celebration of The Divine Feminine Is Just Another Assault On Christianity
After we had received this article from the author, below... we received another article concerning the same issue: Pagan Ritual Removed From Episcopal Women Ministries
I am sitting here, having just read the totally assinine so-called Women’s Eucharist A Celebration of The Divine Feminine, and I don’t know if I should laugh, cry, or just wash my eyes out with holy water. Perhaps I will do all three, but not in any particular order.
This has got to be the biggest bunch of tribe, up there right alongside the garbage titled The Vagina Monologues, (which, thank God, I did not bother to read or watch). From what part of the galaxy has the “Rev. Glyn Lorraine Ruppe Melnyk” and her followers crawled from? Just where are the heads of the Episcopal Church’s leaders? Dear Lord, grant us a respite from the madness and folly that seems to be spreading like a cancer over our land.
While reading this stuff, a picture of the type of woman Glyn Lorraine Ruppe Melnyk, and those who would attend this farce are, formed in my mind. I picture them as being modern day witches, perhaps men-haters who only want a man around for the purpose of fathering a child, then they will kick him to the curb afterward, and then relish in the role of the “poor, woe is me” single mom. I see them as the type of women who softened their brains from an overdose of daily soap operas on the television, who stop watching only long enough to attend N.O.W rallies and pro-abortion demonstrations.
To call this a celebration of the divine feminine, is really moronic. They have just about given God a sex-change operation. I wonder how they picture God in their small minds, perhaps they see Him seated on a plush sofa wearing “no nonsense panty hose” and a “cross your heart bra”. I find it rather interesting that never once did they mention Mary, the Theotokos, who is the epitome of Divine womanhood. The most beautiful celebration of the divine feminine already exists in the Orthodox Church, called the OFFICE OF PRAISE OF THE MOTHER OF GOD, or as it is more commonly known; THE ACATHIST HYMN or THE ACATHISTOS. This office was composed sometime around the year 532 A.D., and there is in the Orthodox Church no better prayer to express love, devotion and veneration for Mary, and through her, all of womanhood. The following is an excerpt from the Acathist Hymn to give you an idea of what I mean:
Reader: Hail, O spouse of God who have borne the Healer of mankind!
O mystical rod on whom there came to blossom a Flower that never
fades! Hail, O our Lady: in you we find the fullness of Joy; through
you, we inherit eternal Life!
Response: O most holy Mother of God, save us!
The garbage put forth by Rev. Glyn is just one more attack on the Christian Church, and the Episcopal Church should be ashamed of themselves for even allowing this to take place, but then when one looks at the direction that the Episcopal jurisdiction has taken, they have an awful lot to be ashamed of. And to Ms. Glyn Melnyk, all I can say is either repent or, if you don’t like the Christian teachings of the Episcopal Church, then leave it and found your own “church”, I am very sure that you will have no trouble in finding enough brain damaged morons who would be eager to swallow your teachings. I care little, what you do, but don’t destroy a Christian Church in the process.
Very Rev. Fr. +Gregori, SSJt
We reiterate the Editorial Commentary from 'Apostle1.com' regarding the original news article: The original article shows how Synchrestic Ecumenism is alive and doing well these days... A most unforgiving action which violates the Seven Ecumenical Councils of the ancient Church Catholic both East and West. Sadly to say, the Evil One has infected the Episcopal Church, as the Evil One has also infected so very many other jurisdictions of the One, Holy, Catholic Church. The National Council of Churches is the offshoot of the World Council of Churches which was the origination of the Greek Orthodox Church in the very beginnings. But, as some of the news postings have shown, even the Greek Orthodox are now re-evaluating their past actions although many of their jurisdictions maintain membership in and with the World Council of Churches and/or the World Council of Bishops - both being heretical to the ancient epitome of the Canons. .
As to the Episcopal Church, it must be remembered that NOT ALL Episcopal Churches are connected to each other but operate under different "Synods" which have theological views that sometimes oppose each other as regards 'ordination of women,' 'Synchrestic Ecumenism,' and more. It is strongly urged and suggested that before making any statements about the whole 'Episcopal Church' that one research the 'Synod' to which the parish or local church may belong for it may indeed make all the difference in the world as to their core beliefs and understandings. Not all of them have as yet 'gone to hell in a hand-basket' although it would appear that most churches of the Christian faith are heading that way regardless of whether they be the "Episcopal Church," "Roman Catholic," "Orthodox Catholic," "Anglican," etc.
